tire chains

Would chains clear the front struts and fenders? I think not, if they're remotely close to the same design I run on the Kenworth. Just imagine running a tire 2-3" wider than what you have now and having it clear everything up front. Without aftermarket rims with lower backspacing, I doubt they'd even clear very well on the rear. That is my 2cents, but I havn't ever seen car chains.

On my previous trucks, such as F250's, I ran ice chains on the back but with the Pathy all I can run are cable chains on the rear.

This is why you can not run chains on the front:

Note the lack of clearance. Also, does your Q have the AllMode transfer case? If so, there may be issues with that too.

I too was wondering if I could run chains on all four wheels or just the rears. This answers my question. Does anybody know of a good place to get tire chains for a decent $. I tried one place and they said they had to order them and that it would be real expensive.
