mine never starts 1st go round like I keep the ignition turned over for like 5 secs or so B4 she fires up both my 87 and 95 were like that but never turn the key all the way off and back on to start (except when i busted my tbelt then she would never start :nono:)...

its also possible that you have a leak in your fuel line somewhere and it let all the fuel drain to the tank and after a couple of tries it primed back up and you then had fuel to get ignition

no problem...Hope its something that simple...it could be a loose C clamp up at the engine side and possibly a loose gas cap in the rear b/c I think the tank needs to loose pressure to allow the fuel to go back in the tank...when I drained my system I had to let the fuel pump prime 3 times b4 I got fuel up front...

theres other things that can cause the same problem it was just a thought for a start

Mine was sitting for 9 days until today and she fired right up but when I do let it sit it fires up fast then the rpm's drop low for like 1-2 seconds. By low i mean they drop to like 600rpms not low enough to stall but just lower than usual.

checked all the clamps and theyre all tights but my gas cap is loose so i thightened it . It does fire right up after the first 4-5 tries when its been sitting for a while.

Itll be sitting for a few days again when I work on my rear bearing and ill find out if its just the gas cap

Thanks fellas
