Thunderbolt
Hi I wondering if anyone has replace the spark plugs on the 3.5L and what is the best way to do this project. Any suggestion would be great. David Edited September 17, 2007 by Thunderbolt
88pathoffroad
Use a spark plug socket and a ratchet with some extensions.
Casey.T
^^ Or there might be a Sparkplug tool in your Tire change kit... Remove and replace 1 at a time, anti-sieze....
Jarsiff
book says your intake tube and TB need to come off to get to that one problem plug (theres always one of those) however I found that its MUCH easier to get to all the plugs with the intake manifold out too, this will cost you 3 gaskets as well as the TB gasket that should be replaced anyway but it will also give you an opportunity to lock tight those pesky power valve screws <---- see related post in the pinned section. i changed my plugs while doing that and it was cake
