Weight Of An Arb Bull Bar?

Does anyone know the weight of an ARB bull bar for a wd21? trying to find out if shipping is a viable option on one i found.

I've never lifted one without a winch and lights on it, but a guess would be about 50lbs just the bumper.

cool, the seller was estimating 150 pounds. i was like, damn did they make it out of rail track?

They're pretty heavy; it wouldn't surprise me at all that with packaging it ships between 100-150 lbs

Just the bumper is 85lbs... but as Glenn mentioned you need to add the packaging weight. If shipped on a pallet it depends a lot on how much the pallet weights, some of them can be on the heavy side.

why would you need a pallet? the seller says he'll wrap it in some card board and @!*% ton of tape. ups should do it that way.

I am sure it can be shipped without a pallet, but some people would choose to use one if they have the option. There are some pallets that would fit the bar perfectly but I am sure most would not have access to them as they may be more of a specialty size.

 

I shipped the rear section (3 feet worth) of a Toyota frame 3/4 the way across the country one time, wrapped in cardboard and had no problems either.

 

At any rate, I just mentioned that as an example and perhaps a reason for the "150lbs" mark he quoted.

well, the sob sold the bull bar already. oh well what can yah do. i was gonna get it for 200 plus shipping. bleh
