What are the best places to put jackstands on an 87 Pathy? Also, the manual isn't quite clear (at least for me) on where to jack up the car. Its safe to jack up from the rear axle, yes? What about from the front?

safety is paramount my man so whatever you do be extremely careful.

 

i jack my truck up by the rear axle sometime, yes. front is more tricky; i use the frame most of the time. and that is also the best place to place the stands; under the frame.

 

also make sure you start on a level surface.. any incline can be deadly as our trucks are pretty heavy.
