Not too fast at 140hp & 155hp respectively, but they are really fun to drive. The problem, like 87pathmaker said, is it's hard not to spend lots of time/money fixing them up. You will definately want tires/wheels at a minimum, and most likely springs/struts too! I have also owned a couple accords (late 80's and early 90's) and they are a great car, very reliable and great on gas, but not very exciting....
