hello all, my 87 started making a clunking sound in the rear when i drive over rough surfaces such speed bumps and etc. i only notice it going slow and it sometimes is a little annoying. was wondering if this is a common issue.? thanks :deadhorse:

Just had a guy I know in yesterday with similar thing (caR50) Front swaybar to chass bushes where knackered. Also he said it was swaying badly. Found that all the bushes in the rear are shot too. Had to point out to him that my WD21 still has factory bushes and are still fine :lol:

If you can get someone to rock the Pathfinder while you look at the sus, you might be able to spot something moving.

Mine did that too a long time ago. It was the swaybar. Could also be worn-out shock bushings or a loose muffler mount or several other things being loose.

**, weren't you going to tell him to look under the vehicle while someone bounces up and down on the rear bumper?
