Hud
I bought some 15x8 MT Classic's and the backspacing is 4.25.... Anyway it rubs just about everytime I turn and especially when I'm wheelin and bouncing and turning.. Any suggestions other than the obvios of a lift...? i also maxed out my T-Bars but I think they are bad because the front end keeps lowering through time.. aries247
most people are running 4.0" backspace i believe 4.25 is too much.
RedPath88
If it is only rubbing at the extreme right or left (all the way in either direction) you may be able to adjust the steering stops to prevent the tire from rubbing.
88pathoffroad
31's can rub the front fenders even with stock wheels. Trim the fenders or flares to eliminate rubbing. It's a part of offroading...

I have 15x8 with stock backspacing (4.75") and 31" tires, no lift, and it doesnt rub any after trimming the flares a little
