DJ Dank
So I recently swapped out my old Clarion unit with a Clarion 755MC. Everything seemed to go fine reconnecting the main wires onto the new wiring harness and replugging the subwoofer RCA, Front/Rear RCA plugs into the appropriate outputs on the Clarion. But I can't seem to understand why only the left side speakers are working. I've checked the Balance on the deck, its set right at the middle. Nothing has changed in terms of wiring from the current amp to the speakers, only a HU swap. Any ideas?
Harbinger
I'm not a pro installer or anything, but I'd re-doublecheck all your connections/wiring diagram. And if all else fails, could it be a defective HU?
DJ Dank
Yeah I've triple checked the connections this weekend. Always fun to tear apart your dash and have to remove panels/carpet to route wires. Not sure what to think about the HU because it IS brand new. At this point I'm stumped. glenn
also a shot in the dark, is there a stereo/mono control, an equalizer control? I'll bet it's something about the way the new HU is configured. Good luck. --glenn
Mr. Pickles
Have you bench tested it? A gazillion features aside, its simply battery, switched source, groung and then whatever you want for speakers, inputs/outputs, and such. I wouldn't rule out a crap stereo, but testing it on the garage work bench or even under your hooe would help.
