Help. We have lost our remote on our factory DVD video system. Dealership wants 90.00 for the replacement. 1. Where on the net can you buy one resonably? 2. Who makes the DVD system for Nissan? 3. Would a universal remote work as a replacement? Thank you, Larry

That is what I would like to do is use a universal remote. My problem is that I need to know what the brand is of the factory unit, then try to find what settings I need to program into the remote. Thanks for any help. Larry

Doesn't Nissan usually use Clarion as their OEM audio systems? Or am I wrong?

Yeah, as far as r50's go, clarion is used. With r51's, a majority have Bose sound, and i'm not even sure that bose makes dvd players.
