ok heres the dillemma:

i start the truck, runs fine until you put it in drive, then it will tend to kill over if you let the rpms fall below 1000, then it surges a few times and kills over,

if you press on the brakes when its in drive its even more prone to dying on me

 

HELP!!!!

I've tried using heet and fuel injector cleaner in my fuel and it helps a little, but with the weather anywhere from -22 to 45 degrees every week here, it still does it after warming up for ten minutes.

Check for a vaccuum leak.

pull the hose off of the booster and plug it, see if that helps. if it does than the diaphram on the booster is busted.

At that extreme cold, I would suspect that even your electrical system would be having problems.

 

Can you leave the truck in a heated garage and see what happens?

no heated garage-only dorm room parking lot and storage unit with no heat

will check vaccuum and booster this weekend, those were what my roommate said to check. in school from dawn till dusk, so it'll have to wait till this weekend when i have daylight

Try disconnecting the air flow meter and running it in fail-safe. Does it then still act up?
