nissandoms47 Posted January 29, 2007 Author Share Posted January 29, 2007 my engine exploded last night, so its gunna have some downtime but it'll be up and running in no time! ill keep you guys updated in the next week, i hope tow the pathy to the garage thursday, get the engine saturday and swap it sunday. shouldnt have to do anything special since the engine only has 48k on it. its coming out of an 03 xterra btw. They had 170 before and in '03 they jumped to 180hp and like 210 or 201 ft. lbs. nissandoms47 Posted January 29, 2007 Author Share Posted January 29, 2007 yeah i wonder. well im getting the ecu and harness and all that so i guess it cant hurt to play around with it. but im sure i was way below stock HP and torque on my motor. my oil pressure was very low and i wouldnt be surprised if the compression was below minimum on the cylinders. nissandoms47 Posted January 29, 2007 Author Share Posted January 29, 2007 yeah im just driving the qx4 for now. the new engine is going in sunday. it shouldnt take more then 6 hours. not very complications either. since the new engine is pretty much new. dont have to do a tbelt or anything on the new one. ive got spare vacuum hoses and all that just incase they are so brittle and snap.
