I need your opinions

I want to get a suspension lift for christmas, but with the lift I would probubly need new bigger tires to make it look better. Should I go ahead and get the lift, or should I get bigger tires and wait to get the lift?

What size are your tires? They look to be 225x75/15's. If that is the case then I would recommened some 31's then a lift.

 

If you plan on going to a tire bigger than 31's then you should get the lift and tires and install them at the same time... IMO

Why not ask for a lift for Christmas but not put it on until you've got the tires too?

I could do that... how much do you think it would cost to get new tires and wheels and all that jazz?

Tires usually run about $100-$150 each for 31's. New cheap steel wheels go for about $40-60 each. Depends on what you get and who you get them from, I suppose. My brother knows a tire wholesaler who buys 'em from dealerships and tire shops for about $7.50 per tire as a batch and then sells them for $15 each and makes a tidy profit. Most are real decent tires, too. They're mostly street treads as well, but you never know what you may find!
