Hey guys would the TBar on a 87 fit a 93?

 

If so , what kind of tbar do you think this is? I was thinking a sway away powerbarz but ive seen a few member that has sway away and theyre red.

that is a sway bar. (front sway bar)

 

torsion bars, or Tbars are more towards the back of the front diff....they are the bars that go back and connect into a crossmember.....(there are some pics of them around here somewhere.)

 

and for all i know Tbars should swap between all model years.....

Unfortunately, I can not recognize by sight.

 

Can you get your hands on a set of calipers and measure the diameter? That is the critical thing. A stiffer bar will be larger diameter - and a small change in diameter provides a pretty significant spring rate change. Even a mm larger will make the front suspension quite a bit less compliant/flexy.

According to the owner of the truck who just emailed me its an old sway away tbars .Unfortunately it would not work with the pathy.The diameter are the same but the lenght is shorter on the HB by an inch if Im reading the specs correctly.

 

This 87 has a susp lift also and the guy that owns it is willing to part it out if it doesnt sell in 2 more hours.

Let me contact the guy and ill get back at ya. I kinda figured that lift has to be a good one looking at the pics.

 

Just in case he ask how many parts is there on that ifs lift kit? Is there some parts in the back too?
