use a press and a piece of 4x4 wood and a 24 mm socket. put the socket on the lower side (the side opposite of the threads) but 4x4 wood under that and then press the stud out with the press on the threaded side... you only need about 8000 lbs. at least mine did.

 

a hammer will just bend the mount i would think.
