~Ben~
So yeah, I've got fog lights on my car (the ones already installed on the bumper) but I can't figure out how to turn them on. They've got bulbs in them, and its not a problem like the fuse is out, its just I can't find the switch for em. I'm sure the answer to this is gonna make me feel stupid, (and maybe I am) but I'd like to have the answer so I can actually use them. Thanks. BLouisGod
my factory switch is in the center console above the ebrake, next to the heated seats thing and the shock selector.
5523Pathfinder
The switch is on the center console by your E-brake. It has a little pic of a light on it. Mine is right next to the drivers seat. Remember, they may not work when you have you brights on.
88pathoffroad
Some Pathys have a switch under the dash in front of the driver or even one in the dash on the left or right. It's also possible that the previous owner just took out the switch and never got around to replacing it...
94extreme
yeah, center console or by right knee in the dash area.
Oliver
And your headlights must be on to use them.
Jdpathy
Is that what that what that switch was for, I could not figure it out so I went to trace it and it was cut off behind the dash so I wired my new foglights into it.
Oliver
If you're running new fogs you probably want to wire a relay into that circut. You'll get better light output and you won't risk burning up the switch. I know that my buddy put fogs in his Dakota and he has to turn them off after about 20 minutes because we can smell the switch getting hotter and hotter. Its easy to do and plenty of electrical smartys on here to help.
