My friend from a vo. tech school stole some spark plugs for his hardbody, they say Nissan on the box but they also say NGK's. I've never heard of..Nissan making NGK plugs, or whatever you would call that. And I don't know of any company that would put a car manufac. on the box. :confused: The plugs are white, and say NGK in blue on the side, I wrote down the numbers on the box too:

NGK makes the plugs for Nissan (they are the OE supplier). Part of the OE contract is that Nissan packages the parts in their packaging. Sometimes they have the OE manufacturer "private label" the part with a Nissan logo, sometimes not.

 

There are many, many parts that Nissan does not personally make. Electronics, tires, wheels, filters, hoses, etc.

I looked them up online and there NGK Laser Platinum and $11.67 a piece. I never found any literature on them though, anyone know if they are they better then bosch platinums?
