WRL69 Posted October 20, 2006 Share Posted October 20, 2006 (edited) Looking the O2 Sensor place, I saw a little kind of asbestos filler in the red zone of attached pic (Excuse me, it pic was taken from a post by Slick). Slick Posted October 21, 2006 Share Posted October 21, 2006 (edited) the part you are referring to is a heat shield. mine never had a "filter" in it... yours may have had some form of heat resistant pading/resonator in there..... as long as you have the heat shields on there you're ok. you could probably buy the stuff you are referring to on ebay or something, but i personally wouldn't worry about it.
