vengeful
That may be indicative of the typical resistor failure. Try searching around the forums for climate control resistor or the like.
chapter
Yes it is the resistor module.... 227$ CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is a service bulletin on this problem for 2002-2003 pathfinder.
CoastGuardZ
Damn it! I just developed this same problem today! Mine is the SE, but I'm sure it's the same... Anyone know where to get one cheaper or how to repair it? Heck... where is it? Is it the actual control unit/interface?
88pathoffroad
That would be the blower amplifier. They aren't cheap and they seem to be failing in quite a few people's R50's.
Simon
Yeah, it's not to bad to if it's the blower motor resistor, which, is replaced by the blower amplifier in a Climate Controll equipped Pathy/QX4. Unfortunately, I don't believe the 2 are interchangeable.
CoastGuardZ
Well, this was IT! The straw that finally broke the camel's back, or at least the one that made me trade-in the Pathy. I decided that I was tired of the limited aftermarket support and rediculous prices for replacement parts and the frequency of failure... and the lack of a bed... I now have a '07 Frontier SE 4x4 Crew Cab Long Bed with the 6spd. I'll still be lurking around the forum so I'll "see" you around.
