2002 cd stuck error

i am looking in the garage section for a problem that i have with the stock radio unit, i have not installed my upgraded equipment.

 

i put a cd in the cd changer, it is stuck there with the mention err0

and dont want to do s***, it wont read it, wont eject it...simply stuck there...

have you encountered this, is anyone aware of anything???

thats really all you should need, if Plan B fails the Plan C involves a hammer and Plan D uses gas

 

 

just take the butter knife and slide it in over the CD, it may just have slid of or something, then see if it comes out, try that a few times, is this the first time its happened?

i just took it from the dealer, popped in a cd and boom err0 appears

 

it was the first time, with the first cd...

dealer's answer: radio has 0 waranty -argue-

take the radio out and see if it was remanned. if so...itll have a big sticker with red writing on it. And a new date of warentee. Worth a look into. Dash is not hard to remove either.

Do you have the BOSE 6 CD changer?

 

If so, there is lots of info here about how bad that unit is. I get the errors as well but I find if I turn it off or change it to the tape or radio, I can eventulay get the CD to come out.

 

Just drove a round trip of 11 hours each way, the CDs played the whole time with out one single blip. But I can drive across town and not have the thing work at all
