  1. K, I dont quite know how to work this new form type, So I hope I did the right thing in the right section lol. quick question, Would a LSD from a 91-94 Nissan 240sx fit in a 95 XE pathfinder? Just found out today that the XE models dont got the LSD (found out the hard, but fun way) oh i noticed that i have a diff up front, but im not too sure if they are the same open type front and rear, But i do know that the rear is open
  2. What brand of UCA's did you use? I want to go with Calmini because they look solid, but their set is $400!
  3. ill have to check it out tomorrow if it aint raining
  4. k, Im going with the calmini lift lol
  5. I myself was planing on getting this lift kit https://www.4x4parts.com/catalog/product_in...;products_id=54 along with the idler arm brace https://www.4x4parts.com/catalog/product_in...?products_id=58 31's will should fit fine with a 2' 3' suspension lift. just make sure if your using your stock shocks that they are in good condition.
  6. How did these turn out for you?
  7. I just bought another pathy, it has 215,000KM's on it... Its not running mint, but I belive thats becuase there is no exhaust connection going to the o2 sensor! Timing belt was done only 40,000km ago!
  8. k well i played around with the wires by selecting front-left on the deck, and found a connection there and went on from there. Thanks alot for the help guys! ps: I noticed that where the exhaust leak is, that the floor is getting pretty soft
  9. yup, i just finished checking it, and its right underneath the driverside floor before the o2... so that might be whats throwing the check engine light and the start up and running problem. Ive checked alot of websites but i cant seem to get the correct colour diagram for the audio harness. Thanks again for the help guys
  10. Thanks, ill check the ECU code when I get home. As for the exhaust leak, I havent taken a indepth look yet, but its coming from the y-pipe area. And for the pdf file for the audio wiring harness... The Big thing is that those wire colours are not correct. there are about 3 pink wires from my factory wiring and the factory harness is not there at all, so i cannot check the pinouts. Thanks for the help guys
  11. I just bought a 95 pathy for next to nothing, XE model (canadian), and it came with the oldest aftermarket deck i have ever seen in my life! however it was on its way out kinda. So I decided to replace it with my MP3 Sony Explode deck. Now, the wiring is all cut and crimped together on the old school deck that was in the pathy, but the wire colours are of that i have never seen before, there are a couple different colours and 3 black wires... Anyways I was wondering if anybody knows where to find the wire colour diagram for the audio harness for the 95 pathy. It has the 8 speaker system. (I dont know if that the fact its a canadian xe, makes the wiring different or not) Another thing, The tach seems to be jumping around like crazy whenever the key is at the on position, and the truck has a bit of a rough start for 1 second. I believe this is whats throwing the check engine light. There is an exhaust leak from somewhere in the engine bay, it might be before 1 of the o2 sensors... im not sure, im not a mechanic lol. heres a video on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QXrQtRSyyEs Thanks in advance
  12. K, I sprayed WD40 around the manifold... and nothing changed and no flames. I did notice a disconected vacuum line of some sort behind the motor, on the fire wall... it lead to a round device in the corner... soo I asked my brother what he thought it might be, and he siad it my be my stall/idle controller? i was looking for it, but i didnt know where it was
  13. Keep us posted on how this turns out! Im interested myself on the td27 swap! but me have no money now
  14. Well, for some reason, the sound has not cut out in the past 2 days, but the deck is still not grounded. I was reading somewhere on the forums that I should bypass the factory amps so i can get a full signal to my amp for my subs. But, where are these amps located in a 89 2 door? and how do i get to my rear speakers, becuase I got 6x9's that i want to swap in? Thanks for the help!
  15. I remember reading somewhere about spraying WD40? but I have a pretty acurate idea of where the leak is coming from (if theres a leak), but I just cannot see exactly where its coming from
  16. Ok, so i just finished wiring everything, and everything seems to be working correctly... BUT, after playing for 5 minutes, the sound shuts off completely while the deck is still on. If i turn of my pathy and start it back up, the sound is back... also, i noticed that the ground wire for the deck fell off of the screw and the deck still plays, and turns on and off... is any of this normal? im completely stumped
  17. Ya I thought about that harness from canadian tire, but since the wire colours were already messed up from the12volt (which i used for all the cars in my house), I didnt think that they would be accurate there either. Thanks for the diagram, atleast i see brown wires in there lol
  18. I went on the12volt website, and the audio wiring diagram is completely different than what is actually in my pathy! Did anybody else find this problem? and is there another accurate wiring diagram? PS: I have a 89 pathy SE with a tape player
  19. I jsut bought a 89 Pathfinder Automatic. It has 163,000KM on it, everything is original I belive (there is signs of a recent tune-up though). is that it has a high and fluxuating idle, between 1500 and 2500rpms. And if I put it in drive before its fully warmed up, it stalls. I think there is a vacuum leak coming from the front top of the manifold, but I cant hear or see exactly where its coming from. I just hear a whistleing sound kinda. I did google search a vacuum diagram for the vg30i, but it was kinda hard to read compared to my actual engine. Would anybody be able to help me? edit: this is the one i was referencing to
  20. I noticed that Hitachi has 140amp alternators pretty cheap for 95-00 Nissan Maxima's and Infinity I30's. Now I know the common Quest/Villager alternator swap is 120amp. And I also noticed that they look pretty damn similar(if not, the exact same) And I do plan on running a serious sound system (1200watts rms) and about 4-6 100watt lights. has anybody done a maxima/I30 alternator swap? and has anybody done a z32 300zx alternator swap? and whats the difference? Thanks
