      I ran 6 k with Q syn but it sounded ****** so I switched too mobil 5k. Car is driven mostly highway at higher speeds. I suspect I would run it 10k with a filter change at 5k.

      Stick with the regular stuff if it's cheaper. It actually helps that you drain the oil every 5k miles because you drain all the crap that doesn't get caught by the filter with it.

      you shouldn't need to change your filter at 5k unless you're using something like a fram orange can, if you have a clean engine in the first place any well constructed filter can go 10k easy
