Also, whats a good way to keeps the dust down and to clean. He is currently spraying starting fluid and wipping the dust off onto a rag,any thoughts on this subject?
a watered down ammonia cleaner. get a windex bottle with like a 60/40 water to windex solution and a clean cloth, i know it is good for cleaning parts after sanding, before painting. its primer & paint safe. it removes the little particles and makes the paint job look nice. tack cloths work really good too! that starting fluid might react with bondo... im not sure tho. and i use varsol for bare metal only.

Could not find them any way I tried on the site listed (ruggedrocks) only the calmini's are there. Going to hit the local off road shop and have a chat with the owner...he is a buddy of mine...maybe he can help.

The don't do anything for ball joint angle. They're the exact same shape and size as stock. Just stronger. I'd pick another type.
thanks for the info
thats false advertising! bullsh*t i say They hunt continues...

I found this company in Canada, http://www.otto-max.com/index.html they say they make coils and leaf springs. They say they Can make stuff for Nissan, custom, lifted, lowered, etc. even high articulation. Looks pretty cool, they welcome custom designs too!

use ABS plastic, not pvc
abs flexes PVC shatters.

Hey Guys and Gals, i found a spring option from a company in Canada. They say on their site, they can do Coils, Leafs, Nissan, yes. custom, offroad, lift or lowering, "...including custom and high articulation applications. Custom applications and designs are welcome." http://www.otto-max.com/index.html It looks cool anyway, check it out.

what about using the front diff drop bushings from RuggedRocksOffroad.com to help the CV angles??

i think that a lot of city drivers are very bad drivers... when i lived in Ottawa i would have to do the 100m dash to cross the road. even at a crosswalk... drivers on their cell phones, going 20 over the limit, not paying attention , too worried about going to the Tim Horton's drive through... :coffee!:

The Vietnam vet that called it in should be given the keys to the city IMHO. Good for him.
they said on the news, the Vietnam vet was the previous owner, the NYC cops found it....

yeah we need a show about cars and not about the D-bags who drive them.

I know. Speed Channel stinks ever since Fox bought it. You used to be able to see things like WRC, BTTC and Austrailian V8 Supercar all the time. Now if you're lucky, they might show one or two races from a series like that at 2am on Sunday. I'm soo over NASCAR. Now before I get flamed by fans, it's not so much the racing itself but the oversaturation. NASCAR is like the Hannah Montana of motorsports. It's friggin' everywhere. And Speed has those ridiculous ancillary programs that they show over and over and over again. They used to show stuff like Austrailian Jetsprint Boat (You Tube it. It's insane) and German Touring Car racing and even the Isle of Man TT. Not anymore. Maybe if we all start watching the NASCAR shows all the time they'll have enough ratings to justify starting a separate NASCAR channel and we could get some of the old Speed programming back.
You nailed it! I miss WRC and Isle of man TT... it is quite sad indeed. there is another racing channel, i seen it on youtube... i forget what its called. Anyway these days i watch stuff online. a couple i like: http://www.gtchannel.com/ and streetfire.net

it doesnt say "where" in my '93 book... i found that if i drove with the gas door for the fuel filler open the light would come on... i cant remember at the moment... on the left side is my best guess

Are these any good...

Let me know what you all think
They look real nice... PIAA is a great brand. How much would that model of light be if you ordered it at a local shop?

that thing is sweet.. its a rock crawler by design... rockwells are good when you have 50"+ tires

i wrote them an email and got bad news.....
Yep - nothing available for 4WD - sorry! My guy thought you were inquiring about 2WD - duh? Sorry about that - and as far as we know, there really is nobody out there doing Hardbody 4x4 components. You might Cal Mini's @ (909) 622-1381. Thank you, KARTEK OFF-ROAD.

Does that qualify as "OEM"?
i believe so... beats buying sheet metal! just like the TV show says, Chop Cut, Rebuild. my truck is pure offroad so i dont care if it looks bad. as long as my feet dont get wet, or my ECU for that matter...
-
heres a little pathy math: 3"+3"=33"
3" suspension lift & 3 inch body lift. allows for 33" tires...

i recently found my mysterious gas smell, the evaporation line that goes back to the tank was rotted, and clogged, so it wasnt venting the fumes. i loosened my gas cap and a big rush of fumes escaped...
it was broken in the passenger side front wheel well, i noticed it when i was putting on my rancho's.
-
ive used computer case panels, a cut up tailgate
..... and im gonna use my pathfinder hood to fix the floor in my D21
-
if you get a 88 300zx vg30et ECU, you can put a turbo on it! the I think those ECUs can be tuned by nistune.
-
2wd and 4wd Pathfinders use the same UCA, LCA, etc., unlike the 2wd HB.
Ok, and I verified it before I wrote the reply, except I looked in the truck FSM, that's my 15 year truck background showing for ya
no worries
The factory service manual is pretty limited. When i got my D21 last fall, i lucked out, it came with a Hayne's repair manual.
thanks grim
Awesome, well its good to know they will work.

i might be wrong, but arent the UCA's in the calmini 2wd lift the same as the UCA's in their 4x4 lift kit?
