I will take a pic, there was a rubber flap that goes under the alt. It attached to the front "skid" plate, I think? I will look in the am.
Zack
Humm... now I know what is missing in the front skid plate of my truck...
I saw some kind of attaching points, but didn't know what was that for...

Oh boy! Ummm the most recent thread on cup holders is 2 years old.
Yep... and that new cup holder I've posted there is now old and broken
I need a new one...

HOLY @!*%!!!!!
Best Ive gotten was 320 KM to a tank. yes, KM!!!!!! thats just under 200 miles to a tank. this SUX!!!!!! 3" sus lift 31's A/t 4.625s. OEM light bars with 4 6" liths.
full 2.5" exhaust flowmaster 40. 8 mm plug wires, new filter, oil change, cap, rotor ect
I did go threw almost 1/4 tank 4 wheeling and have since found that I can go REALLY low on a tank.
How far can you guys go once the gas light turns on?
I put 30 km with the needel totaly on E (did not move at all since start up) and at the 30 km the gas light started to come on and off
That's bad, the worst I got was about 250 city / 320 highway, but after replacing a bad fuel injector I'm getting 300 city / 430 highway. My Path has 122k miles on it, 2" tb lift and 255/75R15 AT tires.
The high capacity of the "EMPTY" is very good to me... I've used it many times
-
But how big is the tank on my 1995 SE-V6 5spd? It seems that even when the gauge is VERY LOW it only takes about 17 or 18 gal. If it's a 21 gal tank, IT NEVER takes that much! So Do I really have 4 extra gallos\ns when the gauge reads VERY EMPTY?
Thanks,
Zack
I don't know, but I think there may be more than 2 gallons, I've already run more than 10 miles in "EMPTY"

f'in shiite, thats nice, I like the front bumper too
Me too...
I'm thinking about having someone build one for me, just don't know where to start... I'll have to draw what I want...
I like that! Is it build or bought?
-
Yep, and with 6" BL it is very ugly...
Maybe some kind of slider can help hiding it
-
And the one I told...
6" body lift
33" tires
-
Ok, this is one
-
(a long time without posting...)
As you've been talking about stress & body lifts...
What about a 6" body lift?
I'm gonna post pictures later. There's a shop in Sao Paulo/Brazil who does the work and a guy from our Yahoo! forum put the BL in his Pathfinder. :o
I'm wondering if that's secure at all...

Then, as I'm fond on saying, it's 1/2 the truck, 1/2 the driver; we've all seen enough internet videos and photos to agree on that (much less first hand experiences) !!
B
Partially disagree...
It's:
1/3 the truck
1/3 the driver
1/3 the bud outside saying "Here... Here... Turn Right! NOOOO! I MEANT LEFTTT! Ok... Come... Stop! No! STOP!!!! OW! WHAT A SH..... I DIDN'T SEE THAT ROCK!!!!!"
(that's my wife "helping" me)

It happens to me just the first time I try to shift into 4HI. After that, if I have to disengage and shift into 4HI again while running, no problem. But for the first shift I allways have to stop, otherwise I'll hear those bad noises too.
It's not necessary to stop and reverse to unlock the hubs, just in case it does not happen a while after you shift back to 2HI.

Where do you attach (can I say this?) your hi-lift if you need to lift the vehicle? I've heard the stock bumpers aren't strong enough, as well as the stock sidebars.

Well it's about time for me to change my oil and I was wondering what kind of oil everyone uses. I use Castrol GTX High Mileage 10w 40.
I was going to make this into a poll at first, but then I decided there are just too many different brands, mixtures, and weights of oils to effectively create a poll.
Same here!
That's all I want!
I've seen Castrol GTX High Mileage around here, but only 25W60. So I used Castrol Magnatech 10W40.
I'm gonna search more, maybe I can find the GTX High Mileage 10W40... Oil change time is coming...
-
10-w30 weight is what Nissan recommends!
That's strange. The owners manual for my 95 recommends 5W30 for all climates. 10W30 is mentioned, but only above 0 degrees celcius. I use the Valvoline, or Quaker State high mileage, 5W30.
So says the manual of mine.
I'm using syntetic Castrol Magnatech 10W40.

Lol, and I thought I was being smooth with my $26 bid (I'm Rave5096)
Looks like its up $90.95 now though :-(
Oh! And I thought I could bid US$50 and have some of you send it to me in a little box as a gift, so I won't need to pay Brazilian import taxes!

Yeah, that's what I used to check what the trouble code meant, as I weren't at home... I asked a friend to use his computer, went to he online shop manual address and translated the code, and throwed this question on NPORA. But nothing else than it, he's got a veery slowwwww internet connection....
-
Yeah, I came back home with no problems... today the check engine light was off, during the trip it came on and off... but no problems... just crappy
-
My 94 flashed the check engine light twice, then after a while it came on again and didn't off anymore. I checked the code and it's a 32 - EGR function. I just noticed a little lack of power. I have to go back to my town tomorrow, 100 miles away and down hill. Do ya think it will do any damage? I won't be able to repair it here. No time.

BTW...
Welcome, BRSurfer!
Glad someone else around here from Brazil! Where do you live? I'm in Porto Alegre.
Glad to hear that, I live in POA too!
So, we are neighbours! :cool2:
It´s great have someone near to change tips about part´s supliers here (major issue).
Also, if you want search for some trails, I´ll be glad to help.
Thanks for the welcome.
Cool!
What part$ $upplier$? Ni$$an stealerships?
We have a small communitie in Yahoo! Groups, at Pathfinder BR, we're about 30 Pathfinder owner's in Brazil and used to change some information. I think there are 3 or 4 in RS.
Maybe some day we can do a Pathfinder Trail Day, yeah?
These guys from NPORA are great, but ... PQP... they find Pathfinders in the junkyard like we find VWs, Fiats, Fords...
BTW, what color is your Path? Dark green?

welcome
someone mentioned the NGV/petroleum systems before.. i beleive it was some of our friends down under somewhere... you can always start a thread and tell us all about it.. gas is probably gonna become reality here in a few years.. MAYBE..
what's your total range on both fuels?
I guess it was me... and someone from Argentina...
I'm gonna get it in my Path soon... now I'm broke...
I'm spending around US$250 with gas, so it's gonna be worthy, one year spending half of it and it'll be paid
-
That's also what I did, the lights were coming on and the alarm firing in the middle of the night... just put two washers on each side and now it's fine.
-
And... Maybe it'd be better to use the supports as a template to build new ones... stronger ones...
