Hi, guys!
It's been a long time. Last year the crankshaft of my Pathfinder broke and I had to rebuild the engine. Everything was fine till someone gave (mistake? bad intentions?) the block of my engine to another Pathfinder owner. So there's a engine block that I don't know who's the owner, I just know it's not mine. I found my Pathfinder's engine block number in the transit department, and definitely it's not that one. And I couldn't check the owner of the other engine. But I've talked to the one who is supposed to be the owner, but there is no engine number in the documents.
Is there anywhere else I could find the engine number other than the engine? I mean, easier then there?

So, did anyone test the Jet Performance V – Force Module ?
-
Or you can use a bigger tire in the slower speed axle
-
Not really easy. You have to make sleeves for the bushings. I used 1" diameter nylon rod, cut them to length and drilled them big enough for the bolts.
Just ordered a set of them, maybe in 2 weeks they will be here so I can install 'em.

No one has bought & installed them ?

Ambient sensor.

I put 30 or lower cuz I dont understand tires that much.. mine are 275/60/15 So what are those supposed to be? I saw some nice tires at western auto and pepboys... now they cost $200usd each plus tax and mounting them on the rims.. What do you all think?
Kind of 28"x11.0R15

1000 is way to much,
I had a custome Y pipe and all new exahust custom made for rig (expet manifolds)
new cat, new muffler..
650 out the door.
Yep, but Brazilian duties will take about US$ 400... It's really cheaper to custom build it in this case.

Will moving to 2" or 2.25" pipes, cat and muffler, but keeping stock headers give more power ?
-
I'm considering to have a local shop custom fab a new exhaust setup for me. Thorley + muffler + shipping + duties will go much higher than US$ 1000.
Is it neccessary to change the header ? Won't just less restrictive tubes and muffler give my Pathy a bit more power ?
Oh, forget it... I've just found what I need to know
I've searched before but did not use the right words
Lack of better English language skills

Great picture! Congrats!

I bought one during my vacation for about $2... thought "Maybe it's too much" and then after a month found almost the same stuff in a supermarket for almost $8!
It is hold to the AC output, in my Path I use the passenger side (of course, I have to ask my wife "Please, give me the drink")... I used it last weekend when offroading and everything was ok... it is easy to plug and unplug, and has the advantage that if it is a cold day, you just need to keep the AC very cold, and your beer will be cold too...
Talkin' about cup holders

The Calmini version is 3/16" steel, cut and folded so it is 3 sided (like the corner of a box) and welded along one edge. IMO if that doesn't do the job you had better question your driving...
B
Oh tkx! I'll have to build another because I made a mistake and cut it 1/4" shorter so the next one I'll use 3/16" steel.
Back to work

I've replaced the idler arm bushings, and I'm building a custom idler arm brace. Do anyone know the thickness of AC & Calmini ones? I've a bracket already cut made of 1/8" plate, guess it is worth...

The disconnects I have are 4"1/2 longer than stock links, as I could see the sway bar end will be pointing down the ground.
Maybe I'll shorten it a bit and drill new holes for the clips.

Bringing the topic back to life
Almost a year ago, when I bought a body lift, also bought rear quick disconnects from AC, but haven't installed them yet
Now I'm going to do it, but it seems to be much longer than stock sway bar links, at least 4 inches longer. Even considering 3" of suspension lift, I guess the sway bar ends will sit 1" lower than it does with stock links on place.
Did anyone noticed the same about AC quick disconnects? Any issues?

DNJ Engine Components
in The Garage
Posted · Edited by flnl
Looking for an engine rebuild kit at Rockauto for my 94, I've found two available, both from DNJ Engine Components. Also, some exhaust valve, intake valve, valve lifters and water pump from the same brand, at a reasonable price. Does anyone know if DNJ is a good brand that I can trust, or should I spend more in a better one?
