  1. My back seat is covered in dog hair.... Aussie, Boarder Collie, Timber Wolf, Husky
  2. My 92 has a light, it even works, but the gas gauge doesn't. The gauge will say full when it is full, but will go to about 1/4 after 30 or 40 miles then back to 3/4, back down, then back up. It will be on low when it is low. I usually fill up between 200 and 250 mi., so I have only seen the light on once. Mine is right in the middle of the gauge cluster above the fuel gauge
  3. I wish I knew, I didn't even know about it until My1path said something about it. Maybe he would be kind enough to describe it How many wires go to the switch that you have?
  4. I thought that there might be something else that i would need. edicer, do you have that little box too?
  5. There are 5 wires going to the switch This is what I have This is the one that I want Pictures of the plug in my pathy http://i421.photobucket.com/albums/pp298/b...iperplug001.jpg http://i421.photobucket.com/albums/pp298/b...iperplug002.jpg http://i421.photobucket.com/albums/pp298/b...iperplug003.jpg
  6. If it is warmer tomorrow afternoon I will take it out and post a pic of the plug. MY1Path, Thanks for the info. I would prefer just to swap it out, but if it isn't possible I will probably give NAPA a call
  7. The wiper switch in my 92 only has slow and high settings only. The slow is too fast for when it is snowing or lightly raining. Will an intermittent switch from a different pathfinder work. I don't see why it wouldn't, I just don't want to spend the money and have it not work. If it will work does anyone have one laying around that they want to get rid of???
  8. I've got the same on mine too...
  9. It looks like it folds down and to go into a hitch receiver to tow it.
  10. Does that "thing" just bolt to where the recovery hook bolts on. That is a very interesting piece of equipment.
  11. I like the idea of using a hose of some sort, you have to get it on there quick. It will save you from spraying antifreeze everywhere and having to clean it up, unless you are into that kind of thing.
  12. It splashes all over the diff. and control arm you would need one that is 30" wide. I just made a big ass mess. Everything else was pretty easy. Good luck Silver
  13. Is there any trick for collecting the coolant from the plug behind the alternator? It is a very interesting place to put a drain plug. I got the rest of the anti-freeze out it just ended up all over the place.
  14. I thought that there would be one on the block, I just didn't know where to look. I'll go try to find those. Thanks. Is it important to use distilled water instead of tap water. Will the minerals build up or something?
  15. Is there another plug besides the one on the driver side bottom of the radiator. With the cap off I tried draining through that one and got about 12oz of coolant after 15 min. I'm not sure if I am missing something or if something is plugged up. I've tried searching everywhere and all I can find is directions saying to drain the coolant, no pictures. Thanks for any advice in advance.
  16. In Lima, Peru the police use the R50's too. Complete with steel mesh over all of the windows to protect them from angry Peruvians throwing rocks
  17. "Adequate power finally arrived in 1990 when the 3.0-liter engine switched to multipoint fuel injection, giving the Pathfinder 180 horsepower" This can't be right, shouldn't it be around 150hp?
  18. The Calmini uca's won't squeak if you use a marine grease with lithium. My pathy came with the Camini uca's and the previous owner (Earth1) tried a few differant lubes and found it to work the best. I haven't heard a squeak since I have had it. You just have to grease them about every 6 months.
  19. Cover it with Herculiner. Prep it good and do 2 or 3 coats. I am planning on doing this next summer. It should hold up better then the rattle can stuff and you can get a gallon for around $75.
  20. For every other axle they are $410 and up, except the Isuzu they are $304 and for our Nissans $250 . It sounds too good to be true...
  21. Sorry to jack, but where did you get the Smittybilt? All I can find for front bumpers is the ARB and that one is $$$
  22. They look good with the grill, but it is hard to tell how they look with the rest of the truck I am planning on putting Herculiner on my hood, fenders, sides (from the handles down), bumpers and tire carier . So if you decide not to use them I might be interested in them.
  23. No Pathys are going at bluebook and Kelly is high anyway. wiith 177k and no stereo if everything else was perfect then maybe $2000, but not a dollar over. You are going to find the best deal on Craigslist from a private seller. http://omaha.craigslist.org/cto/812867300.html
  24. You don't have to bypass the amps, but it is sugested. If you plan on using a subwoofer you need to bypass them. If you don't the sub won't be loud. With the stock amps and the amp in the new deck you only have to turn it to lets say 5 of 20 on the volume instead of maybe 16 or 17 for it to get loud. This way the remote wire running to the sub doesn't tell it to play loud enough. You can tweak things around to make it work, but the sound quality will suffer. I got really irritated trying to make it sound good in my old pathy, once I bypassed the amps everything sounded better.
  25. Same thing happened in my old 93 (10 min into 3 hr. trip at night ). I just installed a new deck and put a coupple .44cal sized holes in the old one
