  1. You ever try putting some kind of RTV or gasket sealent in the outside of the manifold as a cheap quick fix? Don't need it to last forever but I can't afford to do it now.
  2. More like a horsepower trick. It has a better affect with V8s or anything with a LOT of accessories. I know a couple of hot rodders that have done it or some of my friends that offroad Dodge pickups did it.
  3. I know in MI if you spin the tires it is an "unsafe acceleration" which is the same fine as a reckless driving but no points.

  11. I can turn the engine off for 30 seconds and it will tick again. What did you do to yours to get it to go away?
  12. Ok, I just got hold of a 92 Pathfinder, V6 5 spd a few days ago. Test drive went fine, drive around went fine. Drove about 40 miles at about 80mph and did fine. I finally drove it home (120 miles at about 75mph) and I noticed a ticking coming from the motor upon exiting the freeway. It increased and decreased with RPM. I added Lucas Oil Additive (previous good results w/ other vehicles) to see what would happen. Ticking almost completely disappeared. I can hear the noise on idle after the truck has sat (regardless of air or engine temp) for any period of time. I can also hear it while in motion if the trans is in one of the first 3 gears if the motor is cool. I don't think it is a lifter or pushrod cause it started suddenly, but with no loss of power and no change in the "feel" of the vehicle. Intake gasket leak? Something about these pathy's I don't know? Thanks in advance.

  22. I had a similar issue with the "fog" lights on my ram. I had a set of KC Hi lights Daylighters and had them turned in and went to court. The trick is to convince th judge you thought it was essential for safety. I was driving in the middle of a blizzard so it was an easy argument to make, espacially with how many cars got in an accident that night. I don't know about the whole uncovered thing, I don't think we have that in michigan.
  23. Supervisor can't do anything but pass it up the line to store manager, store manager is a "trainee", can't fire or hire. Apparently she has connections with the guy over his head, but not enough to get me canned (Too much gets done when i'm on shift according to records). The problem with getting to know the warehouse is everything moves. I can tell you exactly where every bay is, but there are completely different items in it from one day to the next. I am not too worried about it. Anyone know of any job openings? I am not too picky as long as it is not admin, I hate paperwork. Willing to travel.
