  1. So I never thought too much about it, but does anyone's pathy smell kinda like rotten eggs and gas after driving a short trip, say 4 miles? Only happens on certain days. I could never find the direct spot at which the smell was coming from. It seems to do it more in the colder weather, say below 35 degrees F. Also wondering if anyone would know what would cause an occasional "clicking" sound within the engine. Thanks again, just trying to figure out the little quirks.
  2. Thanks for the related posts. Found about half an in. of debris in the blower and a few leaves in the fan. It's back to normal. Thanks a lot.
  3. Turning on either the A/C or heater causes for a obnoxious buzzing noise coming from inside the dash. I figured that either something had gotten into the fan or possibly one of the bearings had worn out. Is this a common issue? Do I have the right idea on what could be wrong? Thanks for the help.

  5. Do I just loosen one of the pulleys for the power steering belt in order to remove it?
  6. Sorry, but I already ordered the parts from autoanything. SO in order to replace this pulley I have to remove the Power Steering belt, the idler pulley. and A/C compressor belt in order. That's all I have to do right?
  7. I found a belt and idler pulley on autoanything.com for $50. So I'm probably going to do that instead of taking it in and paying $175. Will the bearings come with it or would they come separate? Is it ok to drive without the pulley or with it jammed? I figure the only thing i'll lose is the A/C, which I can go without.
  8. I just had the other two belts replaced about 3 months ago. Is there an easy way to remove the belts? Yeah it kinda made a loud pop and then a screech sound for like 30 seconds and I pulled over after smelling something burning. I looked at and had noticed that the pulley wasn't spinning and the Belt was just melting and wearing away. So I figured that the pulley had jammed or something.
  9. Is there a specification to how tight the pulley should be, or do you just screw the pulley in, till it stops? Do I have to remove the other two belts in order to remove and replace the Compressor belt? What may cause the idler pulley to jam?
  10. Is it as simple as just unscrewing it and screwing in a new one?
  11. Has anyone ever had their idler pulley go bad? I was wondering how hard it is to replace the idler pulley and Air compressor belt myself, because I'm not really in the mood to pay an extra $100 in labor.

  13. Thanks for the references. They helped a lot. Just another question would be, "Is there a maximum tire width that the rear tire carrier can hold?" I was thinking of getting 5 255/70 or 265/70's on it and was wondering if I could put the 5th tire on the tire carrier without having to modify it.
  14. Bumper guards, window decals, fog lights, lift kits, running boards. Stuff like that.
  15. Anyone know of a good place to find pathfinder accessories?
