  1. As soon as I removed the heat shield today half of a broken stud on the passenger side fell on the ground. Is the other half the part of the stud that is a "pain in the arse" to remove? Because from what I've read on the forum it seems that the stud is extractable from the outside, but if this is true then I have nothing to grab onto with vice grips, etc. There's just an empty hole in the manifold where the stud was. To get the rest out do I have to take something apart to get to it from the inside? I'm ready to fix this problem. :help:
  2. This might help: http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=858&hl= And the locker: http://4wheelparts.com/4wp/products/produc...vetrain&man=ARB
  3. Hey jj big shoe, could you post a pic of how your box fits over the wheel well?
  4. I would, but I could probably get the whole set-up brand new for cheaper than a round trip ticket from Seattle to Pennsylvania.
  5. How difficult would it be to install air conditioning on a Pathfinder that didn't come with it? Because my friend and I were looking under the hood the other day, and he said it looked like there were AC lines already there. I think he was pointing to some tubing on the firewall.
  6. Now I'm getting "you cannot upload this type of file". This is so frustrating.
  7. I had this crazy T-top fantasy for a little while... sly
  8. Do I need to replace it right away? If not, how will I know when it becomes crucial? Because like I said, it only happened the one time and was fine afterwards. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  9. I started up the Pathfinder yesterday and there was a squealing noise right when the engine started. Then when I pushed the clutch in there it was again. I let the clutch out and it went away. Then I pushed the clutch in and...there it was again. After doing this a couple times I turned the truck off and turned it back on, and everything was fine. How can I fix this?
  10. Only seven months until snowboarding season. By then the Pathfinder will be a beast of a machine and ready for the mountain My Pathfinder is my fourth vehicle in four years. Every other vehicle I've had, I've ruined to the point of the repair costing more than what the vehicle is worth. I guess trannys and engines don't like me. Maybe it's because the extent of my auto mechanical knowledge is "when the arrow points to the E put gas in." I've decided to do learn to do all maintenance work, modifications, and minor repairs on the Pathfinder myself. With the help of my Chilton and this site I'm already off to a good start.
