As soon as I removed the heat shield today half of a broken stud on the passenger side fell on the ground. Is the other half the part of the stud that is a "pain in the arse" to remove? Because from what I've read on the forum it seems that the stud is extractable from the outside, but if this is true then I have nothing to grab onto with vice grips, etc. There's just an empty hole in the manifold where the stud was. To get the rest out do I have to take something apart to get to it from the inside? I'm ready to fix this problem. :help:

I would, but I could probably get the whole set-up brand new for cheaper than a round trip ticket from Seattle to Pennsylvania.

How difficult would it be to install air conditioning on a Pathfinder that didn't come with it? Because my friend and I were looking under the hood the other day, and he said it looked like there were AC lines already there. I think he was pointing to some tubing on the firewall.

Now I'm getting "you cannot upload this type of file". This is so frustrating.

Do I need to replace it right away? If not, how will I know when it becomes crucial? Because like I said, it only happened the one time and was fine afterwards. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I started up the Pathfinder yesterday and there was a squealing noise right when the engine started. Then when I pushed the clutch in there it was again. I let the clutch out and it went away. Then I pushed the clutch in and...there it was again. After doing this a couple times I turned the truck off and turned it back on, and everything was fine. How can I fix this?
