  1. IIRC Rockauto has the pin and the monroe OE shock
  2. My exes dog does the same thing.... guess its a good thing for us they are exes if their dogs don't even like them.
  3. oh sweet. ill look into that one then. it does look sturdier and more unique for sure. should add it to the aftermarket parts list
  4. ill just send it back then and either get a refund, or the correct model.
  5. grrr! and after all that work getting those bloody bolts out. Should I send back for a new one? or can I just enlarge the hole myself?
  6. hole is too small, sorry, shoulda said that i suppose lol
  7. Its an AC brace, anyone have this problem before? Frame bolts fit just fine but It wont fit on the actual idler arm bolt.
  8. How the heck do I get these out??!! Putting in my Idler arm brace and steering suspension today. when i use my breaker bar on them it just turns the whole nut-bolt assembly, not just the nut
  9. sent my order a few days ago..
  10. Never mind, I found my chiltons which details it.
  11. Ok, so I'm gonna change out my ball joints tommorow, and need to know the specs for torquing the new ones to the UCA and LCA. The FSM tells me the specs for the bit that connects to the knuckle/hub.....are they the same for the bolts connecting to the UCA/LCA?
  12. haha! I like it. I thought about decorating my truck too, but I think my dad would disinherit me. He's such a scrooge.
  13. Heres just a reminder to everyone that they should use the correct safety equipment working on stuff. In particular use eye protection because you dont want to be an idiot like me. Went outside this morning and decided it would be a good idea to quickly spray all my electrical leads, starter, and alt with electrical degreaser. Only take about 10 mins right...ill just be careful and spray away from my face. No need to grab my safety glasses(which were only about 5 feet away) Easy right?! Sprayed everything and all was well until I stopped spraying the starter connections and leaned my head in (I was under the truck) to get a better look. This placed my head directly under the nozzle of the spray tube and what do you think happens next? A drip goes into my eye. Man does that stuff burn! Rushed back into the house and flushed my eye for 15-20 mins as it says in the instructions and I was fine. Served as a good reminder of why there are such things as safety glasses, and why we should always use them no matter how small a job.
  14. think ill do a combination of all of these, wire wheel sounds like the best finishing option.
  15. I just finished burning out my UCA bushings so I can replace them with new ones. http://i446.photobucket.com/albums/qq188/b...os/DSC00939.jpg However, there is still a bit of melted rubber inside the bushing holes. Any tips on getting this out?
  16. WARN is a very well respected American offroad supplier. I believe Mile Marker and Superwinch are also US based...but I could be wrong. The reason many people use ARB etc. is they are the ones who make most of the accessories for Pathfinders. Plus stuff made in Oz is just cool
  17. you dont have to remove the tranny....but it might make things easier. just watch the oil pan as you get it in there.
  18. yeah...well....check now its $101.18 for one now
  19. one thing though....did you replace both upper and lower with this type? or just lower? thx!
  20. anyway I'd really rather not get banned and I'm beginning to get a little insulted from being called a fool, blind, "sheeple" etc. So I'm going to duck out of this conversation. The truth is rarely in the extremes of beliefs, but more likely to be found in the middle.
  21. thanks so much nige! makes this so much easier
  22. ahh so you get your information from Wikipedia! really reliable. it can be edited by anyone...did you know that? What happened to don't believe everything you read? that makes it close to opinion and unusable as a source in intelligent communities. but in an argument which spends half its time insulting the people who disagree with it what do you expect. No, obviously you could never change your mind about anything. You are 100% right 100% of the time and the rest of us are fools with our blinders on. No reason to speak to me eh? Well don't put your anti-government rhetoric that you get from theories on Wikipedia(which by the way has explanations for your conspiracy theory, or did you only read the parts that applied to your theory?) on a public forum. Bunkers and missile silos are a completely different thing than 9/11, which if it was caused by the Government would be the biggest conspiracy ever! Conspiracies only work when there are a very few people involved. I'm sure we never landed on the moon either and JFK is still alive living with Marylin Monroe.
