Welcome me to the HOA group. No more renting!!!
I was just accepted on a two bedroom condo, that i love, here in San Diego near my work. Opened escrow yesterday. Escrow closes September 29!!!
by the way, on a 2 bedroom that costs $180k, the monthly payment is about $1100 and then the HOA is an additional $280/mo
You better believe i'm going to make good hard use of the pool area, BBQ, and tennis courts!!
Congrats on the condo bud. But holy hell, 180k for a 2 bedroom condo? I'm sure thats probably the going rate out there, just hard for me to believe since things are so much cheaper in Texas. Gotta give another holy hell to the HOA dues. Thats hard for me to comprehend. My HOA dues are only about 500$/year.

You've got that right. I've lived in Houston for several years now, after moving from Beaverton, OR. I love it up there, pretty much everything about the area/climate. Biggest downfall is the cost of living though. If it weren't for that I'd move back there today. Nothing like being able to keep your windows open at night all the way up to mid june. As opposed to Texas weather when you can really only open your windows and be comfortable for like 2 weeks out of the year. lol

I kind of dig both trucks. Missys truck is cool because you don't see many of them with 1tons. I think this whole thing is kind of empty though. Reminds me of a cake or pie debate.

When I look at the "work" that youve done to yours I dont see to much pride, all I see is "Ohh chit look what I can waste my money on, and have the bigger d!ck" ohh I meant truck.Lol.

Dealerships are so flaky like that. When I traded in my exploder they gave me 6000$ for it. I still owed 5900$ on it so basically they gave me enough in trade in to pay it off. Hell, my parents traded in an 84 lincoln town car I had when they bought a new car, and they received 1200$ for that thing. Guess it all depends on the dealer and what kind of mood they are in.

Who say's I haven't? I've changed the timing belt and crap load of other parts. Things that actually MATTER. If and when I have the cash, from a real job not mowing lawns and selling stuff like you, I will start doing mods and upgrades.

I was able to find longer power steering hose at the autoparts house. O'reillys that time I believe. As far as the brackets for the bumper. Cup-o'fail in my opinion.

It varies. I don't think anyone has ever paid the same price. If I remember correctly I paid 196$ shipped.
