Early 90s Chevy full sized are still fairly simple, your Nissan experience will cross over just fine. Acting like fuel means start with basics. Check fuses/listen for pump/try the 'bang the tank' trick mensioned already. Even with a bad spider rail it should still run, just not very well. Checking for spark can be done with the old pull a wire off a plug and use a screwdriver to check for the arc. I've seen many GMs die over simple corosionnin a dizzy cap and fire back up with a quick scuff of the internal contacts on the cap with a piece of sand paper. You know if it's a 4.3/5.0/or 5.7?

Went cross eyed looking through my photobucket and haven't found them yet but it is defiantly doeable. As vagabond said, the crossmember it bolts to at the front makes it a much simpler install. My headliner wasn't such a clean finished product though...

IIRC 93 was the 'odd' year 90-92 matched (aside from the odd 90 2 doors) 94-95 were matched. Maby some trim color variations?

How much room you have? If you have space pull ANYTHING that seems remotely intriguing. That or make a couple bucks parting it out... I know people like the roof racks from them...

You have to pull off all chilkoot badging and replace with just "F" badging if your going to call it a Canyonero and see who all REALLY gets te reference...
Can't help you with your suspension questions (I was a wd21 guy) but your not going to do a 'body lift'. You have a r50 which is a unibody construction.
Gotta start somewhere, we were all new at some point!

I think r50 wheels have different back spacing that may make them sit 'tucked in' the fenders some. I know I e seen lego's on r59s but honestly can remember seeing the other way around...

This...How much do you have the t-bars cranked?
The UCAs don't supply any lift, just correct ball joint angles so you can turn the bars up. You still need an alignment once complete.
