  1. Yeah that sure is a logical statement. First you dont have a problem with it but then you do :chairfall: . How do you know his headlights are blinding people? I have mine aimed down just fine and have never been flashed or gotten a complaint.

Having been blinded by both situations the lifted non adjusted lights are not really that bad when scattered HID can be very painful. Way to call me out on it you big jerk! :itsallgood:

MFV: I would be interested in how the kit does the high beams. And def post up pics so we can see if/how bad the scatter is...

  2. So the filter change itself went fantastic, but the stupid little strap that holds it on has one of those typical 10mm rusted off bolts that Nissan loves to use. Since I couldn't fit a drill up there and did not want to grind around gas lines, I had to use tin snips and cut the rusted strap. So now I have what is pictured below. If I leave it like this it will move around a little and possibly over time come out of the strap. My only thought right now is to try and get a pair of hose clamps and try to clamp around either side of the strap, maybe diagonally. If anyone has a good idea let me know!

  3. So you are blinding people enough with the lift (which I don't have a problem with) and now you will blind them by putting HIDs in housings designed for regular lights. Personally I have loved your build and love your Pathfinder but that is just irresponsible. I am in no way attacking you personally but I just hate when people do this.

  4. Second the value of B spec, I just wish the races got you more money. I have over 200 cars and about 6 million with 50 or so cars maxed out. I really want to get the ferrari F1 cars and give them a run.

  5. Well what happened for me was I was driving at 70 and heard a noise like a rock in the wheel well then the vibration and very slight noise started, so my first step is to get the wheels re balanced in case I lost a weight (which is what I am hoping). Anyway keep us updated on what happens with yours in case others have the same issue...

  6. The 99.5+ have slightly larger rotors. Slightly.

I am pretty sure the wheel issue was with 15" Nissan steelies and a few aftermarket models. I seem to remember some people had no problem getting them to fit and some people had to grind down the calipers a little to get them to fit.

  7. Two things I will say that have severely disappointed me is that you cannot continue to win the prize cars and that you cannot sell cars worth more than 100k. So some of the real expensive cars you win can only be won once and never be sold. Very lame.

  8. At what level do you unlock the Sebastion Vettle challenge?

30 for A spec or B spec. I consider myself a pretty good driver in this game and I can't come close to beating it. It's three tracks with a 2 lap timed period. Running flawless laps I was at closest 10 seconds behind the bronze time. Looks like I am waiting until level 40 and 20 million dollars to buy it...

  9. My ID is TerpCivE.I have Black Ops, NFS Hot Pursuit and GT5. GT5 is amazing except the Sebastion Vettle Challenge is ridiculously hard to get the insane Red Bull car. And the endurance races in A-spec have some features I don't like so I won't be doing them unless some of the common complaints get fixed.

  10. 2 hour job at the most and they are not a horrible design i have had nissan v6's and been working on them for 8 years and never seen one leak

Glad to hear it's a short job.

I do think Nissan V6's are great motors, and I have no issue with leaking. The problem with the design is the baffles accumulate sludge if you use regular oil and that contributes to the oil burning. I am confident when I make the repair this motor will last me a long long time.

  11. I need to replace mine as well. R50's apparently have a horribly designed valve cover and regular oil sludges up the oil channels. Since I am burning oil I figured they would be a good thing to replace. I have the FSM and it says nothing about removal. I can send it to you if you want and have an email provider that will accept a large file. I also have the Haynes manual at home which I can check tomorrow and if it has info scan and post it up. It doesn't look too bad, something like 10 bolts per side and a couple hoses, and the oil filler tube and some intake brackets are on the driver's side valve cover. We will see...

  12. Yeah but even with adjustable camber bolts, the strut is still "rigid"

Somewhere in that paragraph i said that. There is only a rotation at the ball joint when the spring compresses or expands. No rotation at the lower strut mount (where the camber bolts are).

-The bolts do not affect articulation.

-Use as many camber bolts as you need to get proper camber. 0, 1, or 2.

-The "weird angle" of the tires is normal, and a big reason why strut suspensions are just not that good.

-Alignment should be performed with the vehicle at rest, with all weight on the tires. If it's being done any other way, never, ever go back to that shop.

It sounds like you're either getting ripped off, or the shop worker(s) are a special kind of stupid, or both.
