I wouldn't since VQ35's are well known for sludge buildup and mineral oil is the sludge culprit. First 5k miles with Mobil1 and the oil filter was filled with sludge that the synthetic cleaned out. Why would you want to anyway?

Right now we will probably stick with grey. Yeah, I like black too, but how many cases of shirts should she buy? How much demand for one color? I do know with the graffic printing, black and white can be a bit tricky. But I will look into it!

I will just say I cannot wait...one question for you Derek, is the basic only available in gray shirt with black logo or will there be an option for other colors? I love me some black t shirts...

More than most R50 owners, I think.
I don't think more than a handful have bent their links, Dan's were mangled when I saw the old black R50...

Also, check the rear suspension. If your rear suspension links are bent, it'll tweak the rear axle, and you'll have to counter with the front wheels.
you would know...

I will just say I have had no issues with my wheel spacers, but I will not take my truck off road with them on, but I do check them once every month or two to make sure everything is torqued down...

The bar grill is on the LE and XE models for 99.5-2001 (at least since mines 01). The XE had no flares, SE had gray flares, the LE had color matching flares. The eggcrate grill is not only on 99.5 since my 01 SE has it. They did some wheel shifting and grill changing and what not almost every year from 99.5-04.

Awesome job man! Did your VQ35 come from another Pathy or did you salvage it from another model Nissan? I figured if mine ever kicked the bucket I would look for a 350Z/G35 one with a new ECM for the VVEL...

No we don't. But what we do need to do, is employ a little commonsense! Pathfinders, Terrano's and QX4's are of the same family of trucks, so all qualify.
x2...they are all Pathfinders at heart...Pickups, xterras, etc. are not.

If the Mobil1 isn't approved I will look into the Synchromesh...
And Alex, you are saying that the M/T will drain all the fluid through the plug...

the manual tranny has a fill plug like the tcase and diffs, fill til it gets to that level...thank god for one step being simplified...

My biggest thing is the FSM says 10 qts for the 5 speed, I want to replace all 10 quarts, so let me know how much you have added and that will make this pretty easy since the cooling system for the trannys is the same...
btw: your pic shows the transfer case, but I have the 2001 FSM, I just want to make sure I replace EVERYTHING!

So lets hear it...I thought the best way to do it was to change the fluid through the hoses at the transmission cooler, but it seems like most people have been just draining and refilling on the tranny itself, so I want to hear from some of the experts if just draining and refilling on the tranny itself is satisfactory...

i wanted to do AC front and OME rear but unfortunately AC only sells their springs as a set of 4
I got the rears individually since I bought the fronts preassembled from Max, but it was expensive for just one pair...

I think we should stick to TOTM being Pathfinder ONLY! I like seeing other trucks too but I want to see badass Pathfinders winning these and being nominated, not other trucks. Maybe we should do another "of the month" for all other vehicles owned by NPORA users or something like that...

I thought the 99.5 was VG33? But I have never had that problem with either pathfinder...

Automatic? My uneducated guess is that the plate bolted in where the clutch pedal would go is loose and letting hot air from your engine bay into the cab...

read my last line in the OP. I know it will attract negative attention but u have to just be careful and do what u need to do. Im not stupid.
Will have a vid of the devil exhuast real soon. Sounds badass. Exhuast i hear are very good, not just for performmance and sound but also for others to hear ya. So...the louder the better.
I pretty much just hopped on this thing and started riding it. Didnt drop it once. well... yesterday i was in my garage detailing the bike and i accidentally tipped it over.. urr. But yeah, just think oposite of a manual in a car, and u will be fine riding it. easy.

You can be as careful as you want but it won't do anything for you, but I am glad you are going to be careful.
And I want to hear that exhaust too, those things sound wicked!

Agreed, my links made a TON of noise, now the worn out struts are clunking a couple months after I replaced the links...joy!
