I've read in a few different articles that you should only use Nissanmatic "C" fluid in your tranny, the Nissan book says use it or a suitable Dexron II fluid. What have you used, and why? I normally don't care about what I use. I normally buy my fluid from Walmart or Crappy tire anyway, but I don't really want to cook this tranny. Also, what is the capacity of the tranny? I want to make sure I have enough before I start. And yes, I did search it, but I don't have all day to read every article regarding trans fluid. Thanks Chris bwahahahaha..... I said "tranny".....

Our 95XE doesn't have them either, but after looking at a lot more rigs, I think I actually like them. It seems to fill in the wheel well a bit and make it look tougher. Anyone have a set that they can ship to Ontario?

I could be wrong, but if you mounted the cooler with both lines at the top then it would have to fill to the top with oil and push out any air that is in there?

I've got a chance to buy a set of 5 Goodyear MTR (31x10.5)off of a Rubicon for a good price, but they are a 16" tire. I would need 16" rims but don't know which models came with 16" rims. Any info would be great. Thanks Chris

I don't read a lot about tires, I use what I know works well for me, BUT, I've never heard of a tire that has numbers formed in the tread to let you know how much they have worn. Thats pretty cool. For the average Joe that doesn't know how to measure tread depth, I am sure that this is a valuable tool for them and helps them feel comfortable knowing how much is left.

I've got a set of damn near brand new 30" BFG MTs on my YJ that I am thinking of pulling off and putting on my Pathy. Do any of you have a pic that you could post or email to me of a STOCK Pathy with 30 or 31" MTs on it? Thanks in advance Chris emailme@hay.net

Goodyear MTRs are a good all around tire for snow, mud, dirt but they are WAY expensive.

My last name is Desplenter (sounds exactly like it looks) but alot of people think that my name was Desplinter, so the name Splinter just stuck.

This is going to sound odd, but wipe some shaving cream on the insides of the windows, wait a bit and wipe it off so that you have a clean window. It works on our bathroom mirror, might work in your truck.

I can pull the front clip off of a YJ, yank the motor, install a new one and drive it out of the shop in 8hrs. Sounds like it'll take me that long to change the plugs lol.
