  1. I see them on some trucks and don't see them on others. Is it part of a trim package or were they year specific?
  2. Not trying to sound like a dink, but........ your key is on....right?
  3. I could be wrong, but if you mounted the cooler with both lines at the top then it would have to fill to the top with oil and push out any air that is in there?
  4. I've got a chance to buy a set of 5 Goodyear MTR (31x10.5)off of a Rubicon for a good price, but they are a 16" tire. I would need 16" rims but don't know which models came with 16" rims. Any info would be great. Thanks Chris
  5. I don't read a lot about tires, I use what I know works well for me, BUT, I've never heard of a tire that has numbers formed in the tread to let you know how much they have worn. Thats pretty cool. For the average Joe that doesn't know how to measure tread depth, I am sure that this is a valuable tool for them and helps them feel comfortable knowing how much is left.
  6. Excellent. Thanks for the info guys. Are the lego rims 16" or 15"?
  7. So that's stock height with 31's? I didn't think that there would be that much room. Excellent, thanks for the pic!
  8. Doesn't matter, shoot me off a pic anyway if you could please. Thanks Chris
  9. I've got a set of damn near brand new 30" BFG MTs on my YJ that I am thinking of pulling off and putting on my Pathy. Do any of you have a pic that you could post or email to me of a STOCK Pathy with 30 or 31" MTs on it? Thanks in advance Chris emailme@hay.net
  10. Goodyear MTRs are a good all around tire for snow, mud, dirt but they are WAY expensive.
  11. Thanks guys. I actually have to admit that the only reason that I have to fix my Heap all the time is because of me wheeling the guts out of it. I don't wheel it much anymore and it hasn't actually been to much of a problem for me. Can't wait to dive into the whole pathfinder thing. I had my YJ on 35's and loved it, can't wait to get going on the pathy.
  12. My last name is Desplenter (sounds exactly like it looks) but alot of people think that my name was Desplinter, so the name Splinter just stuck.
  13. This is going to sound odd, but wipe some shaving cream on the insides of the windows, wait a bit and wipe it off so that you have a clean window. It works on our bathroom mirror, might work in your truck.
  14. I can pull the front clip off of a YJ, yank the motor, install a new one and drive it out of the shop in 8hrs. Sounds like it'll take me that long to change the plugs lol.
  15. I have to agree with tmorgan4. A battery selector switch from a marine store will work great and only cost you $35 or less. As far as "The Club" goes, it doesn't take long for someone to get one of them off. I've always told my wife that locks and alarms only keep the honest thief out, if someone wants to get in.... they'll get in.

I think the way that was supposed to read was " Like hell (pause) I'll use your suggestion" Sort of like " My suit is blackpausenot" in my best Borat voice. Doin my best to keep the peace.
  17. Well, how did you make out? The 95 that I just brought home is doing the exact same thing. I was wondering if it was a bad/dirty connection under the hood. Can anyone tell us where it connects to the engine/distributor? Sorry to hi-jack your thread. Chris
  18. When you mention that your brake lines seem taught, I assume that you mean at the master cyl? Like 88 said, you can pull the coils apart a bit. When you do a suspension lift you don't have to worry about them at the master, but you do have to add extensions at all 4 wheels.
  19. Hey all, good looking site going on here. I'm actually a Jeep guy, have been for about 5yrs and just picked up my first Pathy. I've been wanting one for a while and waited till our Cherokee was pretty much done until I got this 95 XE. I love reading the FAQs. That's how I got most of my Jeep knowledge. I love wrenching on heaps. There isn't alot that I havn't done to a Jeep so I guess now it's time to move on and learn somthing new. Thanks for having me aboard and hope I can throw some useful input out there too. Chris
