  1. I have a 2004 Pathfinder that makes a low rumble noise when turning the wheel from stand still or very low speed. The front two wheels have experienced a 3/4 foot drop a couple days ago. Everything's stock, power steering fluid is fine. Any thoughts?
  2. Hi, I have a standard roof rack with no aftermarket attachments (No J-Racks, rack extensions, or saddles). Has anyone ever strapped down a kayak successfully with only basic roof racks? Tips, suggestions, or roof rack pics would be nice! Here is the roof rack for reference: https://imgur.com/a/DrmIQuW
  3. Yes especially wives and husbands. Nice pair, love the truck!
  4. What's your trucks gas mileage/fuel economy?
  5. Wow this is really nice. I am color blind but the red must really pop with that type of interior. Maybe try dual-tone leather in the future? Beautiful work!
  6. No, manual unlock doesn't deactivate the alarm.
  7. Hi, my car has a security system that flashes the hazard lights and sets off the horn intermittently whenever something is wrong (like vibration or unlocking a door from the inside). My key fob has an unlock button that unlocks the doors and deactivates the alarm when pressed. However, whenever I try to use manual unlock (key/keyhole), the alarm sets off when I open the door. Manual lock works and engages the alarm, but neither the driver side keyhole nor the back hatch keyhole disengages the alarm. Manual unlock still unlocks the doors, but I was wondering if any of you know a way to work-around or fix this?? Thank you
  8. Hello, my front right auxiliary lights are out and considering headlight change or bulb replacement. Do you guys recommend any good aftermarket headlights or fog-lights? Thank you!
  9. Hi, so I had an emergency and had to resort to using the spare key. Upon unlocking the car manually with the key, the doors unlocked but the alarm still went off after I opened the door. Luckily I also had a spare fob key that disarmed the alarm. Does anyone know how to manually unlock the doors/hatch AND open them without setting the alarm off? The alarm will shut off if manually locked. It will also continue to alarm and refuse to start even if you put the key in the ignition.
  10. Yes, check the switch on the door jams. Also, does the alarm cut off after 30 or so seconds?
  11. I was doing maintenance checks and planning little repairs like new mirrors, bumper, detailing, and all that jazz. Prom is coming around the corner and I had a really cool idea planned out to propose involving my car, but unfortunately my girlfriend broke up with me today - so it's just a fantasy now
  12. Sorry for the vague description. Once you approach ~45 it gradually appears to vibrate, continues to vibrate, and dissipates once you increase past 50. Depressing the gas does not affect the vibration, nor does curves and other road environments (snow, rain, grooves). As for the vibration, it's more of the subwoofer kind. Like a game controller constantly vibrating or your phone buzzing. You can feel it on the steering wheel and on your seat. If there were coins in the cupholder, it would rattle slightly.
  13. Hi, this is something that's been occurring since a transmission rebuild. Previously, I had to get my transmission (140,000 miles) internally rebuilt because it wouldn't shift out of second. After the fix, however, there is a slight vibration when cruising at 45-50 MPH. Enough to feel it slightly in your seat, feel it in the steering wheel, and hear plastic components rattling. Above 50 and below 45 is where no vibrations happen. Any quick ideas or possible solutions?
  14. Just asking what makes thee QX4 'alright'? Is it the Salvage title? Also my 2 cents if anyone is looking for a Pathfinder is to look under for rust and corrosion. Check engine and transmission records too if you can.
  15. I agree. Although that QX4 is gorgeous with its maintenance records and cosmetics, I (personally) wouldn't justify the $5,000 for it -especially the age and mileage. I suggest negotiating a fair price because there's really nothing to lose. If you have year heart set on it, try going for the fair market value. If you're on a budget and just want a Pathfinder/QX4, it doesn't hurt to search more! Best wishes
  16. Love the trucks! And what's all the sudden craze with these old Subaru Outbacks?? My neighbor and his wife treat their Outbacks like kids. Gotta love them though.
  17. Finally seeing some snow in Tennessee! For those fortunate/unfortunate to get more snow, drive safe!
  18. Awesome rig! Loving the Yakima Rack, where'd you get yours??
  19. LX470 and GX470 are my reasonable dream cars. Prefer the LX because of the Land Cruiser base, but they definitely don't lack in performance or luxury at all. Can't speak completely for GX
  20. I really really wish they had that option for the Pathfinder. Heated Rear seats would be a deal breaker!
  21. The aim adjustment for the headlights is brilliant
  22. https://imgur.com/a/IhgHtFr I would personally recommend this car if you happen to be a soccer mom. Drives smooth and has some cool tech features, but doesn’t (or it looks like it doesn’t) carry the ‘Pathfinder’ reputation of SUV. Different generation, and different purpose. Anyway, I would definitely take this car over mine on an interstate road trip. It’s not bad, and better than the other billion crossovers out there. What do you guys think?
