Here ya go offroad parks state by state
-
Even if you are stock you can still do a bunch of the trails. Hit me up (I'm in High Point, NC) by PM or something if you plan on going

I love PCOA, I've been over there for like 2 years now (under my real name Boston). Those guys are super nice as well & very helpful

As for Prado Lifts, not sure what ever happened. Heard a few kits were made and they were awesome... That's it though.
Tyler SAS his R50 & Max junked his so that was the end of that. MichaginAve (in all fairness he only recieved & installed the lift not actually developing it) is still rocking the lift, running hard at the mall i presume... too cool to come hang out with us anymore

Can I have a free skid?
Only the brown kind that show up in your pants after trying to follow me offroad...
-
Whatever, I've run my truck with the stock plastic skids, full AC skids, and currently with no skids, and have never noticed any difference in the mileage I get between them.
I've had friends who put spoilers on their cars and would argue to the end that it helped the handling, but they don't either. I still highly doubt that any improved airflow you would get from your aluminum skids over the stock ones would be negligible, especially in terms of mileage.
But arguing on the internet is silly. If it makes you happy then I'm happy for you.
I'm not saying that it gives you better gas mileage or not, I get 16 mpg not matter what, I was just pointing out R50's are not aerodynamic
-
I rock a Nissan Quest alt
-
you have obviously never seen the underside of an R50 without a skid plate
theres a whole bunch of non-aerodynamic stuff exposed without a skid (subframe, etc)
do you understand how aerodynamics work?I don't care what you say, that is not areodynamic. The back end of a truck bed creates a pocket of air which in turn makes it areodynamic (thank you Mythbusters) but our sh!t just creates drag (and not the kind you see in Miami in the colorful section either).

Heres a pic of mine after a couple months of me bashing my way through everything :-)
Did you ever pay him for that new4x4r?
-
Yes, precisely. I removed some posts from public view that were problematical.
I should have been more clear in my explanation at the time and not rushed; I'll be more focused next time.
B
It's cool I get it now, no need for more explanations next time (I was think of food when you said "pruned" - I'm a dumbass)
-
Meh....there's nothing that says a Pathy/Terrano can't enter into the "Tough Truck" quarterly as well. Maybe give the TOTM winners another chance on the year to be a winner.
Simon, you sneaky Canadian, you beat me to it...
-
I've not destoryed a CV since I've had my lift. All 3 were before.
-
Those spacers look good but the rocky road versions are a good bit cheaper.
Rocky Road might be cheaper but trust me dude, in life you get what you pay for
-
Pruned.
B
What?
-
I'm on my 2nd set of BFG MT's. They are not as suffisticated as some other tires but they work great on & off road & they aint that bad on the wallet
-
Hell I'm using the same compressor from my original engine (that I sank & destroyed), swapped it over to the next engine & it still works flawlessly
-
MichiganAve disagrees
That was a freak occurance that happened like 2 years ago Tex... kind of like the perfect storm, it only comes around every couple of decades.
-
Holy hell, they have greased you up & aimed for penetration my friend.
If you do need all of those parts (the rack & pinion, really?... I think I smell Bullsh!t) check eBay for the compressor (you can get a nice rebuilt one for cheap just watch price on shipping) or the JY. Both options the same for the radiator
-
Glad to see you're still alive! So far I'm really happy with the lift. As a whole it handles so much better and feels a lot more solid.
Billy
Yeah I'm still here, I was banned over on NICO but it has actually come off now... people get their panties in a bunch waaaay to often but I don't really care.
-
Just go drive over a speed bump in a parking lot. Then you'll understand what the strut top-out problem is.
If you are not trying to find out what it sounds like & it just happens then it might freak you out (cause it sounds like your front end is falling off) but after a while you get used to the sound. Don't worry most of us sound like tards around here anyhow.
Are you happy with your lift?
-
AC 2" lift springs have no evidence of R&D but that guy xplorx4 did moab with the 2" lift so it cant be bad
I've tried to beat-the-hell out of my AC coils.
-
Hey Alex, I was wondering if the rear F-350 spring would give me 6" on the rear of my rig to level out my SFD, with out making spacer or having custom ones made. Also, thanks for the tease!!! where the rest of the picture of this bad boy. That looks awesome so far.
David
Yup but you'll have to do a little bit of fab work on the rear arms (this is the route I'm heading)
-
...don't vote for it if it gets nominated and you don't like it? or maby only use nons as fillers if there isn't 20 Pathfinders? how's that for a possible solution?
This is the best idea so far. Good job.
