  1. All right guys, Sorry it took long to get back,(Have been very busy with work) but I just got off the phone and wouldn't you know it, now that I see that Terry contact Kevin. Right on!! That is the same price that I was Quoted and we also found out what Tyler(t4morgan) used when he order his, it was under his old company name Pradolifts. For the rear His came out to be 5.5 height with 160lbs and the price is $248.40 plus shipping. And it would take 4 weeks to receive them, because they are custom. The price will vary if you decide to go with a different version more length or spring rate, you get the idea. David
  2. Hey Tyler, Is this the company that you used http://www.coilsprings.com/. If this is the company, they don't show you in there records.
  3. Hey Thanks for the info, I'll get back on what the guy says from coilsprings.com . David
  4. I hate to say it, But they screwed you, One is because you're young and they know you're not gonna tell them to shove it, and tell them that there problem for not knowing it was 4wd. (REALLY DOESN'T MATTER IF IT'S 2WD OR 4WD ) You'll learn as you get older. Trust me! If I was you, write or get a hold of the Nissan dealer ship manager and if that doesn't work to you're satisfaction, then go to the Nissan district manager and explain the problem with him on how you felt that you were taking advantage of and if it doesn't get resolve then let him know that you're going to write to the better business bureau and I'm sure there a few others that I can't think of right know. you get what I'm getting at, Don't let those STEALER SHIP SCREW YOU OVER.
  5. Just go to the Nissan dealership and get the two O ring seals and do it you're self, It is as easy to fix, like changing the oil. One seal is about 1.250" in diameter and the other on is 4.000", There's a bolt on the side in the middle of the cooler where the oil cooler rubber hose goes, just loosen it and remember to put a oil pan under it to collect the oil. Also get some carb cleaner to clean the parts as you go. once the bolt is loosen and pulled out, you'll see the old small seal and the large seal, (No need to remove the oil cooler lines)pull them out and put it back together the same way with the new seals and make sure that you clean the area very good where the seal go and put a little oil on the seals, like you would on a oil filter, so that way you have a good seal and don't over tighten it!! Just a good snug. Also that mechanic sound like a crook if you ask me. This is very common problem with the Nissan oil cooler. David
  6. Sorry about that Guys, I tried to write with my phone at work and apparently doesn't work right, anyway I went to Four wheel parts today, and the Jeep coil are 4.0" Id and ours R50 are 5.0" Id. Tomorrow I'm gonna give a couple coil spring companies a call and see how much and what kind of time line looking at, also does anybody know what the length of the AC coil are. Are they about 17 inchs in length. David
  7. Thanks, I'll look into it, and get back on what I find out. David
  8. I have search for a couple of hours on the rear coil spring spec, and know that I've seen them before on the forum somewhere. I was wondering if anybody would have a clue or know the the difference between the stock and AC, because I'm thinking of have a custom set made. So that I could go up 2 to 3 inches higher, to level my truck out with the SFD. At one time, I was thinking of doing the F250 spring, but that would be a very rough ride and the idea of making a spring spacer, I don't have the time. Any Help would be greatly appreciated. David
  9. I was wondering if the 33" would fit on my rig. from looking at the space with 32/1150/15 it would be really close and the rim that I have now are 15"x 8" with the 3.75 back space. will that work or should I go with the 4.00 . David
  10. If I get a chance this weekend, I'll post some pictures up on my SFD. Also, recommend welding the rear block from the unibody to the block that goes between the subframe. I think that part of the frame has the most stress. The pem insert in the unibody broke and the block starting becoming loose, especially after hitting something so hard that literally pulled my hands of the steering wheel and also had to weld the sub frame, because of a stress tear. Luckily that I didn't bend the lower control arm. Last weekend went off roading with a few buddies and everything is tight, no more of the front end sounding like it's going to fall apart and also if you decide to do the SFD, all the work you put in it and time, there's no way that you're going to put it back to stock. you'll see what I'm talking about. It's a real pain in the arses. David
  11. Well I jut replace with new front bearing and out side tie rod, no differance. I'm taking it to the shop and see what they can come up with, also pulled the strut apart to double check every thing and looks fine, but still have a popping noise. :ar15:
  12. Already, here we go. I have a violent front end vibration on the driver side at around 40MPH to 45 MPH and goes away at faster speed. It almost seems that the front wheel is going to come off and shake the wheel pretty good. It all started with replacing the front struts, so I ended up with the KYB GR2. because that everybody likes them and don't seem to have many problem. So I figure maybe the lower ball joint was the problem. nope. It also have like a tiny popping noise toward the top of the strut, when moving the tire back in forth, and the top bolt is tight along with a new strut tower . So either I have a bad strut or the tie rod need to be replace, also the wheel bearing feel fine and one more thing is that I had all the wheels balance and rotate too. I'm really at my whits end. any answer would greatly be apreciated. David
  13. That should do the job. That look similar to the one the ones that I fab up a few months ago, when I did my SFD drop. I have question on the 3" height . I went with 4" height all the way round on mine including the subframe block and motor mounts that way the steering extension would fit perfect. Right now, I'm going to try the F-350 coil spring in the rear and see how that going to work, also see what to do for a panhard extension or bracket for now.
  14. Hey Alex, I was wondering if the rear F-350 spring would give me 6" on the rear of my rig to level out my SFD, with out making spacer or having custom ones made. Also, thanks for the tease!!! where the rest of the picture of this bad boy. That looks awesome so far. David
  15. Sorry about you're engine. Here is a link http://car-part.com/ to find a new engine. I seen some of them a cheap a $850 on the link, the only question is, if they would ship it out and what kind of warranty. Good luck. David
  16. Well my truck just rolled 152000 miles and the only thing that I have done a couple weeks ago was the cam position sensor(Nissan calls it crank position sensor) for the variable timing. She takes a beating and keeps on ticking. Like a Nissan should. David
  17. The 33's are going to rub, no mater how much trimming you do and pushing the metal back. I have enough problem with the 32's BFG"s. To this day I can't figure where the rubbing is coming from when backing up. Also cutting the fenders isn't going to help either. The rubbing will be toward rear in the inside fender well (when you turn you're wheel tightly)in which will be much worse that the 32's and will look like crap too me. that is just my opinion.
  18. These are the only two sites that I know http://www.4x4parts.com/catalog/ and http://www.rocky-road.com/pathfinder.html . As far the R50 after market.
  19. They fit, I've driven at least 1000 miles on them with no problem and didn't do any modification other than the plastic in the fender well from rubbing. David
  20. Hey Tyler, We could use mine this spring when we both have time, unless by then somebody is able to make kits by then, That would be cool to. David
  21. Thanks guys for all you're compliments. and yes it's the 3.5L. David
  22. Here is my Pathfinder, with the new wheels on her, she looks great. The next thing I need to buy is gears. What a power lost and now my fuel economy is about 16 mpg if I'm lucky. oh well, at least the gas here for right now is $1.60, I can live with for now. David Also, here the link if you want see the picture bigger http://picasaweb.google.com/birdsc91/DropB...ey=O0E2Cea6OyI#
  23. Where are you getting that lift at or are you customizing it. Maybe down the road I'll do that, when I have a new every day driver. Oh, with that 6" lift you could put 35" on like Tmorgon4 did with his pathy. I've seen that pathy in person few months back and it was sick. Now that he did the SAS on it with 3 link and putting on 37", it's going to be real sick when he is finished with it. David
  24. Update on the wheel touching the caliper. The noise was at a low speed when I notice it. Now the noise is gone and I did nothing to fix the problem, even though the 15" rim are pretty close tolerance to the caliper, they will work. Now all I have to do is fix the rubbing with the tire hitting the inside wheel cover. David
