  1. lol the only beer i drink is what is left in my hotel and is free lol. one look at my truck and you should be able to tell i'm no "rich kid" stock springs with 2 in spacers
  2. Hey guys! Well after about a year and getting an entirely new truck, I feel like I can finally make a build thread here. I've only owned r50s. This 98 QX4 4x4 is my second, my 2wd 98 PF is sitting in my driveway waiting for a new transmission. I can't seem to find any before pics any more, but it was white and gold, the gold was wearing badly and it was time for a change. I installed KYBs all the way around, and a 2in spacer lift. put on my old wheels from the Pathfinder. I met up with r50 guru Terry and got to work. We ripped off all of the fender flares, door trim, and bumpers. the wheels I have didnt clear the brake calipers, so I ran the front wheels stock for a few days until i could get to work again. I fit the rear lights from my PF, and bedlined the bottom half. Then parts started coming. The cvs were awful, and i was tired of the weird wheel look... Mile Marker 435s for gas mileage and saving cv life! New cvs installed, MMs installed, grinded the calpier down about 1/8 in and it cleared! just got to let it off the jack and test it out! testing..... Pulled off the gray metal bumper to paint it black, ended up liking the look and left it off, put on some temporary turn signals, and installed 2001 LE roof racks. ....booty..... Thats currently where I am at. I have some pretty fresh 33/12.5/15 BFG KM2s to put on it, just need to get some new wheels with better backspacing. As for the future.... the sky is the limit. Want a pre-runner style front tube bumper, sliders, sfd, going to snorkel soon, getting an LSD from my good friend Terry, and general camping equipment and recovery things. The wife and I will be using it for camping and road trips, while I will take and bash on it sometimes =]
  3. I drove a 98 PF for 9 years..... ran 33s under it at stock height for about 2.... no fender wells, did manage to keep the rear mudflaps though About to put 33's under this..... there is no inner fender well, about an inch of each fender is trimmed back, and i removed the air box as i am going to be fitting a snorkel soon. I will be posting pics when the new stuff is all on
  4. I have those same spacers, they've been great so far
  5. on the R50 Facebook page, Terry Henry has 35s under his r50, he uses toyota wagon wheels
  6. I have the KYB's on a 2in spacer lift..... 98 QX4 absolutely love the (ride it is my daily driver). and it soaks up bumps and such very well. About to complete the 4x4, so i'll be thrashing pretty heavily every weekend haha i'll keep you posted. here are the part numbers for the KYBs Front: 335015 and 335016 Rear: 343388 x2
