  1. Just a little advice, Do NOT mention prices until you have tested things to satisfaction, keep us up to date with how things are working though. Oh, almost forgot, best of luck with this endeavor, maybe the r50 crowd will be able to buy new stuff soon!!
  2. only can speak for the 1st gen r50
  3. TJM no longer makes the R50 bumpers, tries to get a run made for AC board, TJM said they lost the tooling and can no longer make them.

    Game On!

Spread salt on the a$$hats lawn, shrubs, etc... it worked well for the Romans when they left Carthage!!
  5. Yeah, Prado=we'll let you know when it's ready for sale=no buyers. I wanted one, but then saw price increase, damage to test vehicles, no kit as promised, etc,etc... Not that the guys didn't try, just never brought a real product to market. Dean your rear bumper is nice, but we all don't have the kinda cash you dropped on it either. I wish we had more options like the Heep crowd, but we don't. I also hope people continue to try bringing new products to market for the Pathy's, it doesn't hurt to try!!!
  6. Okay, looked at it with wheel at full lock, about 1&1/2" to 2" of clearance from the spring perch. Like I said earlier though, full flex may change things, I haven't hit full flex and lock with these on the truck yet.
  7. Don't know off hand how much space is there. I rubbed in the usual places with 31's, some trimming took care of that. I'll have a look when it gets light out, but I can't say for sure that under flex things won't rub differently with the extra 1/4" than mine does now.
  8. I am using this wheel in a 15x8 with 4" backspacing. Simulated beadlock(mine is silver). ION170.
  9. FYI - Foam filter elements are the absolute worst out there. They do not filter well comparatively. Compared to what? All the info I've seen shows they filter as well or better than stock or K&N. They also have better flow rates.
  10. In your case I suggest a jack, the bigger the jack used the higher the lift.

I am also working night currently, I would never complain about my neighbors who are on a "normal" schedule. It is fun however to sit out on the front porch on days off drinking beer and waiving then off to work
  12. The headers from a 3.0L are supposed to fit, however you will need to drill out the bolt holes in the head flanges, R50 bolts are bigger. I'm currently looking in to this as well. I believe Stillen used to make headers for the r50, but not anymore.
  13. I have a Weapon-R on my 98. Gas mileage improved a little, throttle response seemed better, engine sound was definately improved. Intake tube however is set up for a Maxima, so creative hose routing is necessary, unless they've fixed that issue.Look at the airflow ratings however, flows like 2x the air of K&N and filters to a smller micron particle, you decide. If I had to do it again I would buy a Weapon-R filter and use local ricer parts from Pepboys, Autozone, etc for the actual intake.
  14. I'm a little late, congrats on your purchase. If anyone else is interested or if you want another check out Smartech, I have one of their AWD on road cars. Price is good, parts are reasonable, and it's pretty damn fast
  15. Haven't put the spacers in yet, still waiting for a winch. Bumper doesn't appear to add too much dive by itself. I would post the pics ..... but my computer is not liking my new camera soo, have to get them talking first.
  16. My KMA is here and mounted, wil post some pics later today. Now I just need a good deal on a winch!
  17. I run a WeaponR filter and love it. Deep throaty sound. Flow test showed better performance than K&N, plus better filtration. For exhaust I had a stainless Magnaflow welded in place of the stocker and the a new pipe to the rear to eliminate the resonator. All working well so far.
  18. My KYB's did the same thing on the front left, as I ride 'em they got quieter, Been a couple months though. Guess it takes a while for them to wear in. Will probably replace bearings when I put in spacers & bumper.
  19. Wharton SF around Batsto and Atco, pics are from a run started in Tabernacle ending somewhere SE of Batsto
  20. Haynes manual shows removing ball joint and entire hub/disk assembly, do I need to do this or remove hub as if I was installing warns and just clean regrease everything?
  21. so who can explain how to transfer pics from a host to here? Not technical enough on my own to get it done. Computers don't like me!!
  22. It's all good, glad he found one. I ordered from KMA. Besides I was taught you have to start at the bottom and work your way up, he just got there first!!!
