  1. Great story, I've been super pleased with all the help, kindness, sarcasm, and humor this forum has brought me in these past few short months. It's great knowing that this happened and I thank MrJim for starting something so awesome. As stated before I'm pleased to be a part of this new 'family' even if adopted in and hopefully if there's a MrJim run this year I'll be able to go, it's always cool to meet people and put faces to names. -Travis
  2. i got it off and the hose changed, man it runs better now. i'm glad i was able to get at it. i didn't even Need to take off the EGR valve just the EGRC-BPT and one other vacuum line.
  3. they're all pretty rusted. i'll have to get in there and do some work. but i'm sure that'll clear up my EGR check engine code. then i'll get the o2 sensor replaced and that should clean up the o2 code.
  4. i found the EGR valve and can't get it off the bolts are rusted pretty good, need to get a bottle of penetrating oil and a small piece of vacuum hose as there's a hole in the piece from the EGR valve EGRC-BPT valve. and it's dirty as all get out so i'll be cleaning it. but i need a socket and ratchet to get at it.
  5. found the info i was looking for right here http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/35241-factory-fender-flares/?hl=%2Bfender+%2Bflare
  6. I don't remember if it was this thread or not but I read about someone removing the fender flares the black pieces. I was wondering what the advantage of doing this is. Like I said though IDR if it was this thread or not or if they were putting different flares on. just curious.
  7. i thought the dash changed from square in '93 -> round in '94 thus propelling me to believe this one wouldn't fit in the '94.
  8. similar thing happened to me when i got mine i didn't have any keys with a punched ignition and no title etc... i was cleaning it up one night and felt the need to get into the glove box as it may have held important docs (it didn't) but i used a flathead driver and just popped it open a little force but the damn thing was broken anyway. now i need a new glovebox because when i tried to fix the latch (the piece that holds it closed) i broke it even more and it went from being able to close and pop open with a driver to not closing at all. in short just use a driver, scribe, or similar pick type tool and be careful about it.
  9. how can one from anywhere other than FL and maybe south CA not laugh?
  10. i want one in black for my '94 as well, anyone know where to possibly get one?
  11. how difficult is it to put discs in the back?
  12. I tried to get a key fob to program but no luck so it's going back to the retailer i got it from. (the fob not the truck) also discovered that the plastic molded piece protecting the gas tank tube behind the rear wheel wasn't doing a damn thing and was turned completely around, so i put it back in place. I also took some pics of it to have as a reference for before and after shots for when i start doing some mods.
  13. I'm sorry guys i forgot to post that it has been fixed. it ended up being the distributor picked one up from the JY for $50 and it starts right up.
  14. won't i need to get coils for the front as well? if not how does that work?
  15. thanks you guys for the solid info and links. I'll be sure to post pics when i start this project, it won't be for awhile cause i'm in the process of moving.
  16. thank you for the quick reply.
  17. I had my check engine light on in my 94 wd21 vg30e and just put it on the computer and it read three different codes. It read a code 32 (EGR circuit), 33 (o2 sensor), and code 34 (detonation sensor or circuit). I knew the O2 sensor would have to be replaced when i bought the truck and it's simple enough i just need to do it. I'm unsure where to start trouble shooting the code 32, is it as simple as changing the EGR valve? and I do not know what the code 34 even means neither did my dad (mechanic for quite a long while). any help at this point would be greatly helpful. http://www.thenissanforums.com/nissan-pathfinder/45873-95-pathfinder-engine-light-code-34-detonation-anyinfo.html this is all i was really able to find out about the code 34 issue it helps shed a little light on the issue but still no help in solving what's wrong. any help is greatly appreciated, or even somewhere to start other than taking it to a shop and having them look at it cause i'm broke.
  18. thanks you guys this at least give me a place to start. these kits are fairly easy to install yes? I'm pretty competent but don't want to really mess anything up.
  19. just wondering I found a R50 console and was wondering is $50 is a reasonable price. i know it's a used part and $50 does seem like a decent price but i'm gathering info on what others have paid for the same part to see if i should walk to get it.
  20. is $50 for an R50 console from a JY a reasonable price? it seems pretty reasonable to me but i'm just wondering what the going rate is or what others have paid for theirs.
  21. i have a '94 wd21 without a tire carrier how do i shut the light off? i've tried looking in the chilton manual but can't seem to find any sort of switch or relay to take out to get the light to go off. it's kind of annoying i plan on getting a carrier when i can afford one but there's other issues in front of that. so until then can someone point me in the right direction to turning off the silly light in the dash? please and thank you. -Travis
  22. @Aj503 is this the one you used? i couldn't find any other kits for a '94 nissan other than the hardbody. http://www.roughcountry.com/nissan-suspension-lift-kit-805n2.html
  23. I'm looking around to see about getting a 3" suspension lift kit for my '94 WD21 but i'm not really finding anything. I am wondering if the lift kit for the Hardbody D21 would fit my WD21. if not where do you get your lifts? -Travis
  24. I recently got a 1994 pathy. It is unable to start, it cranks but doesn't turn over. I have power up to the distributor but not sure what's wrong. i'm going to be getting an ECU and distributor from the JY and seeing if either one of those is the issue. please any suggestions as to what it may be will be greatly helpful cause i'm at witts end trying to figure this damn thing out.
