  1. One inch spacers is what I meant to say. Do I need to get the hubs.. I'd like to keep the standard 04 LE (platinum) wheels. I have the auto 4 wheel drive and I know that can turn ugly if you accidentally have that setting on and it engages when the hubs aren't in the correct position. I have family members that use my car at times as well.
  2. I appreciate your responses. So it seems like going with 1 inch all around and the OME suspension ( Rugged rocks/rocky-road sets everything I'd need? Better places to buy ?
  3. Hello everyone, I have a 2004 LE that has been in my family since it was new. It currently has 73,000 miles on it and I'm looking at putting a new suspension on it. I live in Utah so I use it for camping and want to be able to tow a small boat/camper but don't do a ton of off roading. What would you suggest ? I've read great things about OME springs.. I do have Fluerys 2 inch spacers (not yet installed). Would you suggest getting the OME suspension or just going stock? I appreciate any input.
  4. Any possibility of doing a combo order with the missing link? If we can get a certain number of pre-orders would you think about bringing that back as well?
  5. Appreciate the pics! I'll have to go out and try it again soon. How far from the hood is it on your vehicles ?
  6. Hello, I purchased an AVS bug shield for my 2004 pathfinder. I've run into some issues and was hoping some of you had experience with it. The screw holes on the far right and left side line up with a factory hole in the hood (about the size of a quarter) so I'm not able to use the screws in those spots. Also, there is rubber lining under the hood, did you use that and stick the shield underneath that rubber and then attatch it? I called AVS and they aren't much help. They want me to send pictures of the hood and under the hood... Let me know if you have any sugestions, I tried putting in into the rubber lining and it makes shutting the hood very difficult. I couldn't get it to close, but didn't put too much pressure on it as I didn't want to break the plastic.
  7. Glad I could help. I wish it had the back too, but the fronts are awesome. Doesn't match my interior, but that doesn't bother me at all.
  8. If it was for a 2002. I assume it would be like mine. The amps for both front speakers are attached to the speaker.
  9. I wish I would have seen this earlier. I recently removed my working Bose and all the speak rs (which worked fine) but I threw them away I would have just givne them to you if you paid shipping.
  10. I just replaced mine on my 04. Gives it a whiter light and I love them so far. OSRAM - Night Breaker Unlimited H4
  11. So what else do you need for the lift other than the springs
  12. Looks like they have more than just one. 2000-2004 OEM all weather. Nearly impossible to find! (I am not the seller so I have nothing to gain from this)
  13. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2001-04-PATHFINDER-2-PIECE-BLACK-RUBBER-ALL-WEATHER-FRONT-FLOOR-MATS-999E1-VN000-/221290874848?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3ANissan|Model%3APathfinder|Year%3A2004&hash=item3385f6c7e0&vxp=mtr I just bought one set and there is one left. Front only but that's all I really need. I figured someone on here would want that last pair.
  14. They are $166 on amazon for warn manual hubs
  15. Here is my sub woofer as well (forgive me for all my golf crap in the back haha)
  16. I also replaced the head light bulbs that have been working for 10 years. I wanted a whiter light and after some research found what looked like the right bulb for me. I'm pretty pleased with the results. The pictures aren't great and a bit blurry on some because the neighbors dog was freaking out when I was trying to take the pictures. A bit darker here. Low beam High beam
  17. Here is the new bull bar. I bought it from auto anything for around $160. Adds a little protection (I realize its not much and can cause more damage ) and gives me a spot to mount lights.
  18. I also replaced the tweeters and used Velcro and electrical tape (ghetto but that was the only way to do it without drilling holes) it was surprisingly secure and there isn't much room at all for it to move with the trim on. We used connectors for the crossovers and soldered and taped all connections to the head unit itself. We used 14 gauge 100% copper for the new wiring and for the most part left all the bose stuff in it. I removed all the speakers and amps but left the wiring (didn't want to deal with it). I had crossovers and the sub bass control that I ran to the front. I'll show the sub and bull bar soon. We did run the RCA and power from the sub on opposite sides and to be honest... I would have rather paid the $350 or so to get it installed and save myself and my father the nightmare. That wouldn't have included installing the dynamat and probably wouldn't have been done as well with some of the horror stories I've heard about short cuts taken. Head unit is amazing! If you use andriod.. I'd suggest this head unit. It has an MHL setting and I can mirror exactly what's on my phone to the head unit... so I can use my google maps and now my head unit is a navigation unit. I also put the park break wire to a ground so I can listen to music dvd's while I drive. Next on the list... possibly a roof rack .. Yakima is what I'm leaning, I just don't want it to stick out too much with those rather tall cross bars. Yakima Megawarrior is on amazon for $304 may have to get that .
  19. Here are some pics of the process and the new head unit. I still need to fill the gap. Any specific recommendations ? I'll get a shot of the bull bar on it tomorrow as well. It has spots for lights.. would you suggest LED ? LED bar instead of 2 off road lights?
  20. New speaker wire, speakers, head unit and sub woofer all installed. It was a huge pain and took longer than I had expected. I also put dynamat in the doors back panels and hatch door. I didn't end up running the license plate camera I purchased. I wasn't entirely sure where to run it and didn't want to deal with trying to run it thought the grommet on the back window. I also dropped the ball and didn't connect the mic to the back of the unit before betting it in and putting the dash back together. I wouldn't use the blue tooth much, but it was dumb not to attach it. It had slid down the dash and I completely forgot about it. Sound is much improved but I need to use the equalizer setting and figure out the best sound settings. Also, I purchased a bull bar that I installed. Now I just need to put on my bug shield and window vents!
  21. Ran into some problems. Connected everything and can't get any sound out of the speakers. The head unit turns on, but no sound comes out. Really frustrated !
  22. I appreciate the feedback. It seems like it will be a huge pain in the ass to run the wire from the hole I'd have to drill behind the license plate, to the grommet in the top left corner of the window. I may just take the loss and go without the back up camera.
  23. How did you run the wires from the license plate? I'm attempting this on a 04 LE and looks like I may have to drill a hole behind the license plate.
  24. I'm attempting to install a back up camera. I have the car basically gutted and we're trying to figure out how to run the wire from the outside of the vehicle. Do I have to drill a hole big enough to allow the rca cables to fit through? Did you run it through the top left corner of the back window with the rest of the wires? Any pictures would be greatly appreciated or links to such builds. I'm close to just saying forgot the back up camera and be out the $40 I paid for it. I have a double din JVC head unit and I bought the TaoTronics license plate frame camera. I would truly appreciate any feedback. My Pathy is a 2004 LE btw. Thanks, Mike
