Added subwoofer and amp to boot,added rear spottie down low and hooked it up to the air con button ,I'd disconected air con. Reamed out cat convertor, wired in two 12volt lighter sockets in rear wagon...tommorow il disconect the dual coils I'd bridged,also add rear brake light, LED and give it a clean,may remove side steps and aircom motor. ok ive found other topic;yes to ka bolt up. definate look in at swap in futre, until then has anyone changed this oil seal? from a block ive seen it sits in timing cover not behind? diagrams?

yeah the pathy has rear washer and wiper,but none of the other options yours has.i have a couple threads rolling as you may of noticed,and rekon il def go an engine swap,2inch lift,and work on customising interior a bit.

thanks mate,any information helps,figure there will be others needing this information too. id perfer to stick with the petrol,less messing around and would perfer the 6 than the 4,but time will tell and engine/parts availability.thanks mate

hi all,i keep seeing people with the z24 motors in there pathys complaining about power,can anyone offer any assistance to decent motors that can be swapped with as little trouble as possible. maybe motord that are not easy,but u know would be great engine for the 87-89 paths with z24 motors. perso.ally I have a z24(s) motor sitting on 310 kms had it scince about 280,000 its run well but lacks power? does 120kmh o. flat highway and crawls well.just not enough gutsy power to suit.

thanks leo and kingman both sound damn good,carb prob be a cheaper option but in a recent post I put up today is I have I think a crankshaft oulsral leak so the vg30i is soundinf good,espeacially if its a near straight swap out,that id be damn stoked with.no conversion plate leo?straight to the 5speed?

ok I noticed a oil leak,degreased,found- 1.front diff and oil pan recently resealed. 2.new water pump.. 3.oil leaking from what seems to be behind fan pulley,make sense? 4.oil leak at rear of engine,seems to be between engine and gear box. MY ISSUE; is this worth pulling apart and fixing,or look for replacment bolt on to 5speed like a ka?????? .OR pull apart and do seals AND if I did redo seals is there anything else I could do as I believe I have to pull timiming cover off and timing chain etc also my first time doing this with nissan engine,done a honda and holden engine.im pretty mechanical but a detailed instruction would be great if anyone knows where to find one.

looking for ideas on what could be up with my z24(s) first thi.g in the morning it near doesnt idle,in the first say 30seconds if I just let it idle itll idle down and stall after warming up it idles fine. 2. up hill the pathy seems to lose power and speed even though accelerator is FLAT TO FLOOR. by the sound it has more power but where?feels almost like I could have another half inch of pedal to go,its not revving out. ideas?

made them out of a plastic post se use on our fish farm,there lasting at least 5years so far while the beaten by weather and us in 1,tonne boats,with losds ,looking at ,2,tonne,so sturdy as I figured over time theyll wear a little and even out,and two nuts is great idea,fig tendion them a little x2 ,over first couple days then lock off or tack weld.also this extension part on steerin is it st top or bottom end,there is a two piece join half way down with rubbdr boot which looks like that could slide s bit? thanks heaps

needing as much asistance as possible in regsrds to the ins snd outs of a two inch lift,my issues(5) 1:ive made my own blocks which afe not exactrly level by few millimeters,will the old rubbers that I leave in settle this issue? 2;i have my main10 bolts,but will I need any smaller bolts. 3;how do the mounts work where nut goes up,think its last rear 3. 4;will thd steering arm extend itself during raise or will I even need it. 5.any step by step instructions avail or ideas would be greatly apprecisted,ss im only workin with a couple$
