hey , welcome , love the intro.(much better then mine was) .... I think you will find theirs a great bunch of folks here , it's given me a few ideals and fixed a few problems I ran across .
I brought mine to O.K. Tire on Canotek Rd...that was before the 33's ...they did a good job. they also did the tie rods and ball joints ( reason for the alignment )
no clue...followed your directions to a tee but nothing.... anyhow I will keep trying ... until then .. "facebook" Mark Richard photobucket mark_richard1
how the heck do I post pics ???? I just like to post the pictures of my R50 on 33x12.5 R15 .... 2" lift in the back . nothing in the front..yet !! Oldey enough , other than doing something I already planed on doing ( trimming the fenders ). they fit nicety .... WTF .. brake lines are not touching and lot's of space behind the strut ...again no front end lift so I do not dare take her off road .
just got a set of 33x12.5 tires ... I have a small 2" lift in the back of my 96 R50 , just want to know what is the best way to get these bad boys to fit under the front .... And being in Ottawa Ontario.. where can I buy the parts needed . Thank you
well I called a local spring and custom fab shop about springs for my R50 , 4 days later they still have no awnser for me....they can't seem to get springs that are 2 inches longer or custome make they.....starting to think they are just not interested !!!
the 97 had a rebuilt trany , but I', sending out my old one to get rebuild . Budy i bought it from had the engine swapped about two years ago and the trans rebuild last fall..guessing having a few spare parts kicking around isn't a bad ideal !
I did a trany swap today ! i was revving at 3800 at 60 miles (100 k) she wasn't shifting into 4th....I'd picked up 97 R50 for part , near identical to mine .It took all day but i got'er done and now at 60 she's revving around 1800.
