  1. Post them up mang, I NEED TO GET INSPIRED!! but i found this video from this guy on Youtube, who is fricken AWESOME, i have learned so much from this guy!! Is this just about how hard it is? and as far as the cleaning table this, cant i just use a Rubbermaid type thing? and he said mineral spirits is that about right? Thanks -Kyle
  2. Yeah, might be doing that here pretty soon. How hard is it to rebuild shafts? i did A LITTLE bit of youtubing but nothing really insightful. BTW LOVE your rig, thats what i want mine to look like!! :aok:
  3. Alright, ill get to it soon. That makes sense, just one of THOSE parts, lol. Thanks for the help guys appreciate it! -Kyle
  4. IT MAKES A TON OF NOISE, when i turn, and expecialy over bumps, but the weird the part is it sounds like its coming from the passenger side? and as far as the lean goes, if it exists, i cant notice it. and as for the replacement parts, i thought you only replaced that mount if it was rusted? That's what i was thinking as well. But is it the end of the world to drive on it, i mean obviously its not good for any of the components in there. Thanks for the replies. -Kyle
  5. Whilst attempting to clean off some caked on brake dust off my wheels with a pressure washer (with no luck, any suggestions?) i noticed that my spring on the drivers side isn't really sitting on the strut as it should? now i have plans to get the suspension redone, but its a ways out, so i know its a fairly simple fix, but what are some of the side effects of running the rig like this? Thanks Kyle Side note, are the top part of struts (pictured) is what everyone replaces when they change them out? Do i need to change them or can i just buy new bearings and move on? Thanks again
  6. So i recently replaced BOTH half shafts on my 96 pathy, now i know this is an issue with the lifted pathfinders, but i dont have a lift (Yet) Could it just be cheap parts? I had to buy one new shaft, and one rebuilt one. (the new shaft is the one wit the failing boot) now i know some one, think its fluerys who has looked into that aftermarket boot, and i might end up doing that, but i already have plans for Warn hubs, so that SHOULD reduce the wear on these things right? Any other ideas? Thanks -Kyle
  7. Wait they're different than what Xplorer gave me, anyone know why? Thanks -Kyle
  8. I understand, appreciate the help in the future, (i hope, lol) Thanks! Plus VIBES!
  9. Hey if your handing our part numbers, im thinking of pretty much the same setup as the OP, and looking to save cash where ever i can. Thanks -Kyle
  10. I would like to know the answer to this as well Don't most guys remove that bar anyway?
  11. That has to have been the worst accident i have ever seen, that car literally disappeared! Do we have any updates on this guy or can we assume the worst? -Kyle
  12. Completely agree, it really doesn't deserve the Pathfinder name, when you remove the key things that made the Pathfinder a Pathfinder. Like the rear door handles (practically its signature feature), running boards and its f**king ground clearance! That thing had better not be marketed an off-road vehicle, the most off roading it will be able to do is the occasional speed bump. Its just a crossover with a slightly larger cargo capacity, the should have named it the Murano Long wheelbase edition. Tisk tisk Nissan. -Kyle
  13. thanks anyway bro. ill keep on searching... -Kyle
  14. Where did you get struts for $70 total? I have been looking for cheaper GR-2's and the cheapest i could find was rock auto for just under $60 each. and then another $40 for a rebuild kit. Share your secrets... Thanks -Kyle
