  1. yeah. Engine Will be out by the end of the night . Between kids,my fiance,friends,and family damn , I just want my Pathy done. lol . She will not be DONE for awhile but the engine will be the Shi# VG33E. So anxious.
  2. alright ! got the Torque converter bolts out .... YAH!!! taking a break now .
  3. how Fu#%ing tight are the torque converter bolts? I broke a 14mm 3/8 drive socket trying to break them free .. I can't even break one of them loose. I got the tranny to move about 3/4 inch back with out removing rear drive line. And removed the lower shield and now i am fumbling around with the other plate between the engine and tranny to were we can get a socket on the bolts from drivers side. and Snapped a socket . I am now looking for a 14mm 1/2 inch drive socket for my impact wrench . HELP !!!
  4. Well i am going with a floor jack tomorrow under my tranny to move it back the inch or two i need so i dont have to deal with the Headache of the front diff..
  5. Would just a regular hydralic floor jack work to move my tranny back an inch or two ? I dont have access to a tranny jack.

  8. So do i disconnect the front diff from the crossmember ? Or Totally remove it from the pathy? I have been told the bolts that hold the front diff to the cross member are VERY brittle !! Should i soak them in penetrating oil before going at it ?
  9. were is the access plate? I cant drop my oil pan my diff is in the way! it is an auto tranny. RE4R01A to be exact. I of course can see the fly wheel from starter hole but cant see any bolt .

  12. Well I now have my VG33E and i do have all of the accessories with it . The engine is out of a 96 pathy going into my 92 I am using the VG33E Crankshaft pulleys on . But i find myself at this point were if i switch sides of my alternator and power steering pump to sit under the hood in the same spot . I need to make a bracket to extend the alternator out toward the front about 1 inch more . and more to come Guarenteed
  13. There has to be an adapter out there some were to put this throttle body onto a VG30E upper penlum? HELP !!!
  14. I only Have my VG30E accessories . I have NONE of the accessories for the VG33E .
  15. I Just Bought a VG33E out of a 98 pathfinder and I will be putting it into my 92 pathy which has VG30E accessories ! Were should i start looking for ONLY the Pulleys ? Will the pulleys off of the VG33E accessories Bolt up to my VG30E accessories? Please Help. This is my Daily driver, I need her up and running ASAP.
  16. I dont have the Money right now to purchase Rebuilt heads. Hopefully gonna find out how much OR were to get Heads that are good from? I have a VG30E . It is SOHC. I will try and check for Casting numbers when my Fiance get's back from the grocery store. Thanks everyone!
  17. I am looking for replacement heads ! So if i need to rebuild them i can. So i can still drive my pathy. My heads are going to Give up the ghost VERY SOON ! I have 250 dollars for them!

  21. It sounds like your oil is dripping back into your oil pan from the heads . It is perfectly normal
  22. Does it Slip outta gear at all? Or shift hard?
  23. You take the Old shock out and I would put Some rtv sealant into the connector and then Put in the New shock. Then ENJOY.
