  1. my vg30e has run dedicated lpg since 97 it runs really well and cheaply its getting some new updated parts soon new impco 225 converter , gas cpu and connections under our government green energy scheme you can claim up to a grands worth of stuff. the vg seams to be a good candidate for lpg as to the stuff ull need ask an impco distrib for advice there stuff seams to be very durable a few mates run comp gq and gu trucks on impco stuff . mine uses the standard ignition system with the gas primer connected to the starter motor relay also run a marine battery to help with cold mornings

defiantly worth a good look at with all that gas you guys are digging atm

  2. put some rear speakers in, picked up a mechless radio with aux, usb sd , pulled the center dash binnacle deleted the cig liter and ash tray, cut the binnacle to fit new head unit where the ash tray was turned out to be a nice tight fit, re routed the radio loom and fitted au spec connectors for power ans speakers, made a blanking plate for the old radio slot , made a swivel mount to put 7" 3g tablet (telstra t tab s7 ) for nav and hema maps weather etc under the radio the bottom storage tray now has my uhf cb and a 3 way 12v break out,

i was hoping to use a blutooth odb consult unit to relay data to the tablet but it appears my 92 odb cant do that :(

its at the mechanics get a new 100 amp maxima alty hopefully a fixed rms if they have time

  3. yep give it ago how ever if things go bad again give wholesale automatics a ring in Melbourne they have heavy duty valve bodys pre made for our rigs on an exchange basis along with t/c lockup up kits if you do any real off road work illd also look at a trans temp gauge to see what going on long term

    best of luck

  4. <<Also, something else worth noting. I did have an auto-electrician fit an immobiliser on the cheap. Could be related, probably not.>>

was it stalling/stumbling before you put this in ?

you can get a nissan consult code reader for odb2 fairly cheaply off ebay usb or Bluetooth from memmory the port is located in the passenges foot well behind a panel dont quote mw though !!

do you know what timing its running at some lpg installers will bias towards lpg or petrol it may be they set the timing to +20 deg wich may make petrol run like crap although not sure whether heat will influence, it may be possible the ecu is making it rich or lean from the o2 sensor

  6. depending on the type of the lpg system you have there may be a petrol cut off solenoid valve installed(as well as an lpg ) to cut off fuel in an accident if that is installed check for earthing and condition also make sure the primary fuel safety switch is operating.
