  1. Rebuilt the internals of my driver door in my 91. Change out the entire lock system, changed out the window seals, and window regulator. Not as hard as one might think. Check out the how to videos in "The Garage" section. More of those videos will be on the way.

  2. Thanks. I hope it helps a few of you guys. There will be more to come.
  3. Just saw this thread. Good job spending the time and money to bring your rig back to life. Looking good.
  4. Salt!!! lol That crap turns into dust out here when the roads dry up. It get's everywhere. Need a good heavy rain to wash it all away.
  5. Yeah after cleaning up the frame with the wire wheel it looks much better.
  6. The good the bad and the ugly. The driver side is a mess but I'm going to repair it and use the frame as the base for my rock buggy. I've done some cleaning up with the wire wheel to really see how bad it was. It's bad but fixable.
  7. You absolutely need that cross brace unless you plan on fabricating something on your own. This is part of the mount. Also I wouldn't cut your headliner and do what you where thinking. Unless you're good at custom upholstery it's going to look terrible. Just keep an eye out for one. PS I may have two sets for sale soon.
  8. You should see how I took the windows out lol. Just cut the metal around them because I didn't want to mess with it until I need them.
  9. I have no idea if that would fit but I doubt it. The head liner and the mount would have to fit. You might be better off building a custom one.
  10. Oh and they don't give you much room to get to those bolts. Looks like I'll be cutting the access hole with the plasma cutter to make it easier lol.
  11. I was thinking about saying fskc it and making a viral video for youtube and throw myself through the windshield lol. That might hurt though.
  12. Cross your fingers. I might be able to get my hands on two VG30S distributors that will work.
